You'd think they had a very good chance to score when it was first and goal at the 7.

    But they didn't.

One would think they would be able to punch it in. But then one would also think you don't go three straight passes to Crabtree on your final series of the game.

The Ravens don't need to hear the Forty-Whiners (Props to Smokey ) excuses.

    The best team won.

It would have been a travesty if SanFrancisco had won that game.

Big difference between 1st and goal at the 7, and 1st and goal at the 1

    Actually, there isn't.

    And fumbles happen, too.

    You're quibbling.

I'd be screaming about the power outage just as I was Sunday until the game ended.

Some desperate bookie probably pulled a plug somewhere.

The Ravens did not take the delay well at all.

Came back flat, but hung on by their fingernails.

They could have scored on 3rd or 4th down and used most if not all the clock that way, you can't assume the Ravens would have :50 left, unless I'm missing something here. They'd have had to use their time outs while the niner's were on offense I would think until/if the niner's scored. Unless the Ravens would have let them score untouched on 1st down, which might be their best choice had they found themselves in that situation.

and, how can we be so sure a ball is uncatchable when the reciever is held up on his route, maybe if he isn't held, it could be catchable? Just askin'.
You can play "what if" in any way desired...

For example, if the so-called illegal contact had been called in the SF-ATL game on Atlanta's fourth down play (the way Forty-Whiners fans wanted the one in the SB called), perhaps Atlanta, with a 1st and goal, a QB almost as good as Flacco and tall, strong receivers, scores and THEY are in the SB.

    No Chance!
