Default Art Modell's Gift to Baltimore

Any and all Ravens fans awash in the revelry should step back for a moment, reflect, and give thanks to Art. As noted in the article, I don't doubt for a moment that Baltimore would never get another NFL team, unless it "stole" one. The fact that the Ravens in short order would become one of the league's model franchises started with Modell's belief in this city.

I was stunned when we got passed over for Jacksonville. Jacksonville - really?!?!!! Florida already had two teams and they passed us over for Jacksonville. That was the last straw for me as well.

We should have gotton an expansion team and Cleveland should have kept the Browns. I'm just glad those ugly crap stained uniforms were left in Ohio.

I completely agree as well, if it weren't for Art Modell, Baltimore would've never had a NFL team after the Colts were stolen from the city in the middle of the night and if it weren't for Modell, we wouldn't be celebrating the Ravens second Lombardi trophy. I totally give thanks and complete credit to Art Modell for giving us a second NFL team after the Colts.
