I just finished watching it also. And even though I already knew the outcome, obviously, it was STILL nerve wracking. I swear...if I didn't know how it all turned out, I'd swear the Ravens were going to lose. You could just FEEL the momentum shift. It was that strong. The 40Whiners seemed destined to win. Then on the final drive, they stalled. Very very weird game.

As for re-watching it, I don't know if I want to relive the butterflies I had during the 2nd half. I'd rather just watch up through Jacoby Jones' TD return & fast forward to Josh Bynes tackling Ginn at the end!

I watched as well. One thing that concerned me wasthe 49 ers saying we were tired, not in shape etc. This being said, I did see why the dpi was not called. The WR came into the DB and broke away with a push off, the ball was actually out of bounds by 4 or 5 yards and Crabtree had no chance to get near it. Now looking at this game, the Refs could have called DPI and 5 yards rule all game. Smith was held the whole 1st half and mant times hit twice after 5 yards. The niners were hit as well but the refs let them play. You can't call the game one way for 59 minutes and than another the last. Lastly, I'm glad Ray is retiring, he was great but in this game Davis owned him but Reed int was the result of Ray telling him what was coming

The one thing I saw tonight that I didn't see before was the hold on the Jones TD return. 2 Ravens were holding one SF guy around the 50. It was so obvious it was almost funny that no holding call was made.

Not only that, but in a regular season game, Torrey Smith was flagged for Illegal Hands to the Face doing the same thing the SF receiver (Crabtree) did to Jimmy Smith.

I never watch (listen) to any Sound FX shows. I did tonight because it cut the replay down to an hour, and I gained some insight. Once again, it showed what a class act John Harbaugh is, and how too tightly wound Jim was.

Second....I made a joke in the prediction thread that the 49ers would score late to go ahead, Jones would return the kickoff to daylight....only to be tackled by Jim.

The ruling would've been a touchdown. The officials would've ruled it a "palpably unfair act" with a "distance penalty determined by the Referee after consultation with other officials."

So the only result of the situation would've been some ridiculous footage of a bunch of helmetless players coming off the bench to chase after Ginn.

Which would've made the shots from the blackout footage the second-silliest images of the evening.

But hey, at least the ringleader would've led the charge.

"Why can't you (go tackle him)?" center Matt Birk asks Flacco after the quarterback barks the command.

Thankfully for Flacco and the Ravens, Ginn was tackled at midfield and the game was over.

That happened in the 1954 Cotton Bowl. The Rice kick returner was running a kickoff back and an Alabama player on the sidelines jumped out and tackled him. The refs awarded Rice the TD.

I thought it was hilarious watching Joe on the sideline during that final play. Consider how much he usually talks, and how much he was talking then... "Joe Cool" was on the edge there. And no, he wasn't serious about running on the field to make the tackle...

As revealed on NFL Films' Super Bowl XLVII edition of "Sound FX" Wednesday night (see video above) on NFL Network, Flacco had an interesting contingency plan as the Ravens lined up for a free kick to the San Francisco 49ers' Ted Ginn Jr. with 4 seconds left in the game.

We'll pick it up as Flacco paces the sideline, approaching tight end Dennis Pitta.

Flacco: "If he starts to break it, go tackle him."

Pitta: "Really?"

Flacco: "I don't know ... what else can ... I mean, they might be able to get a touchdown on that, but I don't know."

Sensing he's not getting anywhere with Pitta, Flacco seeks to recruit others for his plan, turning to face center Matt Birk and offensive tackle Michael Oher.

"Hey, if he breaks it, if he busts this for some reason, tackle him; go tackle him ... I don't know what the rule is on that, but ..."

Birk: "Why can't you?"

Flacco: "I will -- I'm going to."

didn't watch any replays, but this is exactly what I was saying about the interference.
Did you also see the left tackle pull down Kruger on the last drive? Funny enough, they even showed it on replay during the original telecast, and the announcers didn't say a word about it.

This game was called very evenly.
