This is sweet. I don't know how you can't admire this. He's wrong, and it wouldn't have mattered any way, but that is at all costs winner.

LOL Gotta love Joe. So the leadership goes from Ray Lewis with "No Weapon formed against us" to Joe Flacco "Run on the field and tackle the guy". 2013 season is going to be exciting.
Flacco has some really dry humor. This was obviously a joke, I cant believe people in the media are talking about this as if he was serious.
Most of the people in the media are idiots. Look at the way the flipped out when Joe said he thought he was the best QB in the NFL. Who wouldn't say that? Did they really expect the guy to say, "oh, I don't know, I think I'd rank myself around number 14, or so"? Ask Blaine Gabbert, he'd probably tell you he's the best, too.
(actually, based upon Eli Manning and Joe Flacco, there shoudl be lots of QBs declaring themselves the best or elite this off-season...look what it did for Eli & Joe)
I just noticed that Pollard was held on Gore's long run that set up the final series.
...just another example to rebute the haters.
Well I never call shows but I had to here because of the asinine comment about Joe. I first said thy with Joe's personality and demeanor, I don't know how anyone can tell if he is serious or joking and that no matter why he said, no one can really think the he or any other Raven was going to run out on the field. I then said that his comment about Joe shows his bitterness towards the Ravens for having won the SB and one last thing I told him. I said that I do know this, Bob Griffin could have not run out on that field Sunday.
Again this goes back to the myth that the Washington fan base doesn't care about what goes on in Baltimore. 21 years and counting of the Skinnies not doing much makes them become bitter and resentful over the Ravens success.
A generation from winning a SB is a long time. Think about it, a Washington fan born after Jan. of 1992 only knows that winning a SB is something other NFL teams do.
That's kinda like Orioles fans with the World Series. The only difference being, the Washington counterpart was pretty bad most of the time too. I'm glad both MLB teams are on the upswing. But I truthfully don't care much what Washington teams do. Baltimore is my one true love - no one comes close.
I know he was kidding, but anyone who would do this has no place on any team.
Okay we know if a ravens player on the sidelines went on the field and tackled Ginn, the refs could and probably would award a TD. Now...what if it was a fan who hopped on the field and ran on and tackled him? That would be interesting.
He was saying that Joe had the intelligence of a five year old by asking that and not knowing the rules. Claiming it was one of the first things he asked his dad about football when he was a kid and everyone should know. Again he is reaching since he has to suck on the fact the Ravens won.
2 reasons why it's obvious Flacco is joking here:
1.He doesn't say "I'm gonna tackle Ginn if he's heading to the end zone", he suggests to Pitta that he should tackle Ginn.
2.Pitta has been described in several articles as Flacco's best friend on the team, which is why he approaches Pitta about it, just trying to loosen up his teammates a bit during a tense moment.
Obviously, he was kidding. First of all, if anyone did something like that in a Superbowl, can you imagine what the NFL would do? The resulting bans would make bounty-gate a walk in the park. The NFL would most likely ban the offending player for life effectively ending his career, suspend the coach for at least a year, and fine the organization millions of dollars and strip them of draft choices. There's a reason nothing like that happens in games. And I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL stripped the team of the champion title after they won the game. It would not be a pretty scene. That organization would become the scorn of the league and be forever known as cheaters about 100x worse than what the Patriots are called.
