A personal phone call from the President of the United States has much more pull. Libya, for good reason, may not trust the US military or the CIA for messing around in their back yard unbeknownst to them stealing their weapons and shipping them off to Libya. If Byng were here with us he'd be the first to confirm this.

He's smart in not openly supporting arming Syria. After all, the Russians wouldn't be to happy would they? So he is saying one thing in public, and then using the CIA to move weapons from Libya to Syria.

Mohamed Magariaf is the chairman of the General National Congress in Libya.

Obama has his personal number. After all, he helped put Magariaf in power.
