Default Baltimore has the right Harbaugh

I am starting to lose respect for Jim Harbaugh. He still is going on and on about the 4th down play and how he was "cheated" on it. I'm not even going to go there again, other than to say he was wrong and that non-call was consistent with the way the game was officiated all night, but show some class Jim.

Anyone who coaches for any period of time will have heartbreaking defeats. Sometimes those defeats come with calls that don't go your way. That comes with the territory. But the good coaches don't whine excessively about it; they graciously accept the loss publicly (even if privately they disagree) and move on. They then find ways to use it to rally their teams in the future, while they keep their feelings in-house.

Jim Harbaugh wears his emotions on his sleeves. It's time for him to grow up and take defeat as a man. If he is not able to do that, he won't be coaching for long. And that would be sad, since he is a very talented coach.

I'm sill amazed that Harbaugh and the rest of his chronic whiners fail to acknowledge the blatant push off that occurred simultaneously while both were battling for position. Apparently it's OK to take your hand, plant it against your opponent's helmet and push him to the ground. Either one of them could have been called. Maybe what Harbaugh should do is complain about his special team breakdown on Jones' touchdown run and the overall deficiencies of his defense that Joe Flacco exploited.

Jim is a great coach. But he is embarrassing himself. The weeks leading up to the SB you could tell which brother was more professional and ready for a game of this level. Jim has proven himself a freakin spaz when things don't go his way. Flailing around on the sidelines like a 2yr old who just had his toy taken away. We also saw it last year when they beat the Lions with the "handshake incident"

Jim is just a freakin spaz that's all there is to it.

Harbaugh thinks his team got ripped off by the refs at the end of the Super Bowl.
Someone should ask Jim Harbaugh if he thinks the Falcons got ripped off by the refs at the end of the NFC Championship Game.

IMO Jim Harbaugh is pretty good with his Xs and Os, despite what he did on that last drive. But coaching is much more than that. I really don't mind when players get all wound up with calls (Frank Gore, etc.) because players become very passionate in the game and their emotions hang high. But coaches are supposed to be the calming force or, when going into tirades, are doing so in a calculating way.

My nephew's HS football coach in CT, his brother was recruited and granted a Stanford scholarship. Jim Harbaugh cut him and many other of his non-recruits, putting winning first, leaving these young men to find new colleges after the start of a season. Look it up.

Jim Harbaugh is a petulant little immature over rated twit that doesn't deserve respect and will continue to show the country more examples. His 15 minutes are up.

He makes it easy to dislike him, that's for sure.

In other words, see: Belichick, Bill.

I don't see why a player with a scholarship should be automatically granted a spot on the team. The best players should be selected regardless of how they got there.

With that said, Jim needs to tone it down. I agree he is acting like a petulant little immature over rated twit.

Yes, Jimboy is becoming the new Belichick.

If I had time and resources, I'd put together a video of all the penalties the 49ers got away with, starting with Crabtree's pushoffs.

I figure Jim will be the Dick Vermeil of this era. A Type-A victim of "coaching burnout" after a great start.
