So Jim kinda got what he was asking for - the game was called the same way, regardless as to whether it was a random play 6 minutes into the 2nd quarter or in the final seconds of the game. Seem Jim wants HIS one play to be called DIFFERENTLY from the rest of the game. If no other calls during the game, both on Offense and on Defense, warranted a Holding call then certainly this play didn't warrant one either.
Torrey Smith was held on what probably would have been a TD. Staley held Tyson when Kaepernick ran around left end for the TD. If we watch the film closely, you could find a couple hundred more holds. Flacco was hit OOB blatantly, no call, and that would have set up a first and goal inside the one.

None were called. Frankly, I loved the way Bogar's crew handled the game...

Bad calls, missed calls, whatever, are all part of the game. I always laugh when people say the refs cost them a game. I've seen it here for years about how the refs have a conspiracy going against the Ravens. No, they don't. And no, calls don't "cost" anyone a game. Bad calls are a part of every game. They are a product of human officials making judgement calls in a split second. Nobody can get everything 100 percent right under those conditions. Maybe if LaMicheal James doesn't fumble in the first half, the game would have been closer and might have been different. Maybe if the 49ers don't sleep walk through the 2nd half kickoff, they might have come all the way back. Maybe if Ray Rice doesn't fumble in the third quarter, the game doesn't even come down to a 4th down pass inside of two minutes. Those were things the players did, not the refs. Complaints about the ref calls are nothing more than frustration from the losers who won't acknowledge that their own mistakes during the game had a lot more to do with the outcome than any call did.
