    Default Anquan Boldin HOFer??

If the NFL puts Hines Ward in the HOF Boldin should get in as well. If you look at stats and intangibles these two guys are equal in every catagory. If Boldin plays 4 more years and averages 60 catches and 5 Tds's a year his stats will be better than Wards. Also Boldin has been to 2 Super Bowls and won one. (Boldin is not done yet) Ward 3 won 2. They are the two best blocking Wr's I have ever seen. Boldin also completely dominated during this playoff run. 24 receptions 4 td 380 yards. IMO he was the MVP of the playoffs. Ward never was a dominate player in the playoffs. I do understand Boldin was on Dancing with the stars but Boldin is just as good if not better than Ward. THe Ravens should give him an extension and Flacco should give him a piece of is $$$ to stay.

Hines ward will never be in the hall of fame. He won't even be considered for it.

Should he get a statue outside the stadium too?

The HoF was cheapened when Lynn Swann was inducted.

    • Never caught more than 61 passes in any year.
    • Never scored more than 11 TDs in any year.
    • Led the league only once (Tds - 11) in any receiving category - TDs, receptions, yards
    • Never had a pass reception for TD over 68 yds in his entire career.
    • Finished career with only 336 catches and only 51 receiving TDs in 9 years.

Swann is in because of a single highlight catch, promoted in slow motion ad naseum by a then-infant NFL Films

If he can get in, anyone can get in.

Neither Ward or Boldin should get in....that is unless Boldin has another 4-5 really good seasons and wins another ring or two.

Just because players don't make the HoF doesn't take anything away from their careers. Ward was a force on offense for years....a great Steeler. Boldin will be remembered in a similar way in Baltimore. It's a shame he didn't play his entire career here.

Yeah I still don't know how he got in. Of course Joe Namath is in too with a career 65.6 qb rating. Kyle Boller has a 69.5

Boldin yes to HOF. Not to many receivers can take over and win a game like Boldin can.

Not likely, there's a long list of receivers waiting to get in already.

Take away this post season and Boldin has done next to nothing since he's been here.

He should take a pay cut.

Swann was a great receiver and a big game player. The punishment he took and the results he achieved were outstanding.

What a comedy. Swann as one of the greats on a running team.

You are in for a big surprise. Ward was one of the reasons the Steelers have a great winning record.

Boldin is one of the reason that the Ravens have won a SB and have been to the playoffs several years in a row.
He also did it with the Cards - who had never been to the SB before.

Boldin has, in 4 fewer years, only 2000 less yards than Ward.
If Boldin stays with the Ravens the next couple of years, he will have two 10 or more TD campaigns. If he has more than that, he will pass Ward for number of career TDs after 3.

Because Cam misused him for years.

Wide receivers with better numbers than Swann and not in the hall

    Harold Jackson-579 receptions, 76TDs

    Andre Rison-743 rec , 84TDs

    Stanley Morgan 557 rec, 72TDs

    Herman Moore 670 rec, 62TDs

There's a long list of receivers better than Swann who aren't in

Those numbers are from different eras and different types of offense. Swann played big in big games and was a major key to winning.

None of the above were better than Swann.
