    Not so fast:

Joe Flacco told teammates to tackle Ted Ginn from the sideline during Super Bowl free kick return

"If he starts to break it, go tackle him," Flacco then said to Pitta.

    "Really?"

"I don't know ... I mean ... what else can they ... they might be able to give them a touchdown on that? I don't know," Flacco told Pitta.

Flacco, flush with enthusiasm over his new tackling tactic, then went around and tried to get other teammates on his side.

"Hey! If he breaks this ... if he busts it for some reason? Tackle him! Go tackle him," Flacco said to guard Marshal Yanda and center Matt Birk. "I don't know what the rule is on that, but..."

    "Why don't you?" Yanda asked.

    "I'm going to!"

So has Indiana.....the difference are those places actually put the law in place a ways before the election and did not put up barricades to obtaining an ID. Unlike Pennsylvania and a few other states did. So 4 years is plenty of time but 2 months (which is what actually happened) is not.

From what I've read, in-person voter fraud seems to be very rare. Most seem to involve absentee ballots in some form.
I hear that as well. But since most states make almost zero effort to identify the voters I am not sure that we know this to be fact.

I voted for Obama in Ohio and I live in Baltimore.

Where's the microphone...Mr. DeMille should I stand over here or sit down during the interview ?

The Bush administration did a five year investigation and found in-person voter fraud to be extremely rare.

Voter fraud tends to happen via absentee ballot or mail-in ballot. Not voter impersonation at the voting booth...

Melowese Richardson? I wonder if her daughters, Lafantashia, Chalantaniqua, and Laraineashawaniggua voted twice also.

Any type of voter, campaign, or election fraud should be considered high treason and tried as a death penalty eligible case.
    Let's keep it rare

Do you really believe Death is a reasonable punishment for voter fraud?

5 years in prison and stiff financial penalties seems adequate to me...

Yes because the death penalty has worked so well with murder, it will perfect for voter fraud.

It was cancelled out by Flippy and his sibblings, children of the one lady in Nevada voting twice.

How long have we been having presidential elections? Like driver's licenses, states should have started voter ID requirements years ago.

Yes. But it should be administered within 5 years of conviction.

Correct but again you don't pass the law 8 months before the election and put up barriers to get one. That is not how to do it.

Can you do that in Maryland?
Yes, people even express great regret when caught

"Maryland Democratic candidate quit her congressional race Monday after her own party told state officials that she had committed fraud by voting in both Maryland and Florida in recent elections.

Wendy Rosen, a small-business owner running against freshman Rep. Andy Harris (R) in the Eastern Shore-based 1st Congressional District, released a statement saying that “with great regret, and much sorrow” she was resigning from the contest."
