Rare assault weapon crime = Democrat/liberal outrage, new laws must be passed, etc...
But when it happens with voting fraud?
(liberal crickets)
Passing new legislation that is designed to stop a rare event is only acceptable to liberal hypocrites when their cause is being supported.
Otherwise, it's overkill, swatting a gnat with a hammer.
Of course.

Source of real voter fraud is ignored
On the other hand, in-person voter fraud is exceedingly rare. And that makes perfect sense when you think about it.
You see, voting illegally at a precinct carries a much higher risk and offers little reward because it's one vote at a time. Whereas hijacking absentee ballots offers extra layers of protection, and can conceivably involve hundreds of votes at a time.
For instance, a candidate's broker can simply buy ballots from voters, as was the case in Arkansas. Or absentee ballots can be routed to incorrect addresses. Or brokers can collect ballots door to door and discard those that do not vote a particular way. Or a broker can offer to help someone fill out their ballot and guide it in a certain direction.
As usual the point goes right over your head.
The point is -- the rush to pass laws that purport to stop rare events are favored by the liberal hypocrites as long as the "rare event" suits their political leaning.
Read it slowly, twice if necessary, or get someone else to explain it to you.
As usual when someone doesn't agree with whatever stupid arse point you're trying to make you immediately accuse them of missing the point. I completely get your point, I just think it's stupid. Your point assumes that all rare events are created equal when they truly aren't... but I wouldn't expect a hate-filled, tiny partisan mind like yours to understand that.
Yeah, that's me... radical leftist Obama bootlicker. Clearly you know absolutely NOTHING about me or you'd never make such a ridiculous statement. Do you ever tire of being wrong and looking stupid?
If you don't have the testicular fortitude to admit that your analogy sucks then that's on you.
This lady should be Prosecuted and do some jail time. She knowingly and willingly violated her position. She has freely admitted to violating Voting Laws. She is the reason voters should have to present a valid Picture I.D. to vote. You need the same information to get Welfare Benefits, Cash a check, etc.. Now I know a lot of people will cry racism and use the Race Card to come to her defense. It's time this ethnic group stop supporting criminals and select leaders based on abilities. Take a "close look" at the crooks they elected to run Baltimore City. It's time for this ethnic group to take sole responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming others like our total failure of a President and Mike Miller.
Criminals don't worry about backgroung checks. The Menetally Ill should not be able to purchase Weapons. People need protected for the Mentally Ill who for whatever reason refuse to accept treatment. In a Psychiatris setting, Patients can refuse to take part in their treatments and refuse medications that can allow the patient to retain some self-control over their illness. Patient Rights advocates will argue that putting the Mentally Ill on a list that would prevent them from buying weapons do injustice to that Mentally Ill person. I say it protects not only the Patient but society as a whole. In the Conn. shooting a mother, who legalyl passed background checks, was able to legally purchase weapons. The mother, knowing that her son was Mentally Ill, did not seek treatment or assistance for her son. The mother gave her son free access to all the weapons. If the mother had survived she should have been charged with Capital Murder. YOU CAN NOT CONTROL STUPID NO MATTER WHAT LAWS YOU PASS. The Military Sniper that was shot by a fellow PTSD Mentally Ill Veteran he was trying to help chose to take that troubled Veteran to a firing range and give him deadly weapons. AGAIN, YOU CAN NOT CONTROL STUPID NO MATTER WHAT LAWS YOU PASS.
The whole point about background checks is that criminals don't have to worry about them because there are so many ways around them. Not one thing you ramblingly posted changes the fact that tightening up our background check process and cracking down on straw buyers will definitely go a long way toward reducing the amount of guns in the hands of criminals.
