Oh since the writer of that piece claims the fans can't name the Piscataway people, THAT will fix everything. Gotcha. Great argument. If people weren't so homohobic, AIDS would go away too.
you're continued "trivializing" the issue still doesn't work it just reflects your immaturity.

will you show me the post that includes the insult that drove you to set your sights on me?

show me so that I can apologize to you, because I don't usually roll like that on SS.

I'm trivializing? You're the one pretending like the name Redskins is anywhere near the top of the list of issues for Indians. Can we solve urban blight by convincing people to stop using the n-word? I didn't realize so many things could be solved by eliminating pejoratives. Why didn't we think of this years ago?

Yes, of course you are, it's quite obvious, it's all ya got.
We can add "trivializing" along side "hypothetical" and "hypocrite" to the growing list of words of which you don't know the meaning.

    There you go again, trivializing.
You don't speak for me or Indian's.
All I'm doing is discussing the topic at hand by echoing the words of NA's.
    You're the one "pretending".

    more trivializing.
    more empty immature words.
    You have nothing.

The day is coming when the racist name will change, we get closer and closer.
It's so going to break your heart.

Sorry you keep posting opinion pieces to support your side that are so poorly written and actually serve to show how misguided and inconsequential a football team's name is in the whole scheme of Indian issues.

    Wrong.
    I don't have a side, the Native American's do.
I post their quotes saying how hurtful and offensive the team name is to them and they are serious.
It's only inconsequential to r-word apologists like yourself who want to dictate to NA's what is important to them while you continue to trivialize and keep ignoring the pain it causes them....all for the love of a beloved racist name.

If only people like you and these supposed leaders cared more about the people than political b.s., the Indians might actually have their lives improved. Alas, you don't really care. You have an anti-Redskins agenda. Thanks for playing. ($20 says he uses "thanks for playing" in his response. Predictable as the sunrise)

    trivializing again.
The topic is the r-word name change which their leaders have been railing about for nearly a half a century.

If you are so concerned about the welfare of NA's and their problems which you so desperately attempt to deflect to from the topic at hand then what have you done about it?

For that matter if you are so passionate about retaining a hurtful and racist name why wasn't your voice heard at the Smithsonian Symposium? They were looking for opposing views but no one stepped up.
Organizers say the Redskins did not respond to an invitation to participate, and no one stood up to defend the Redskins name when the audience was invited to participate.link

    trivializing again.
I don't have an agenda, I'm discussing a topic on a message board.
Yes I do care enough about the fact that NA's hate the name but continue to be ignored, thats precisely why I'm discussing it on a message board when the thread appeared, duh. I don't like the racist name because NA's have been saying for decades and decades that it's hurtful and offensive. The organization, they don't matter.

Thanks for playing. ($20 says he uses "thanks for playing" in his response. Predictable as the sunrise)
Thanx for proving all over again how wrong you are.

You should probably not post articles that pretend like the name Redskins has anything whatsoever to do with what ails Indians. Again, you posted it which would lead one to believe you agreed with it. Now you are backing away from everything that schmuck wrote. Next time, just don't post it.

I thought I was the only one that found it strange that a white man (GM Allen) said he didn't find the teams name offensive. Ya think? And then he drops the mother load of support for leaving it in place by offering that 25 HS teams in the nation "honor" Native Americans by using such symbols as there mascot. In today's day and age all you need to do is repeat enough dumb crap and people will lose interest - just ask Jay Carney.

“No, no, the name HONORS them, you see,” replied Snyder when informed of Keel’s sentiments. “It’s designed to embrace their, you know, their history as warriors and whatnot. I can’t see how anyone would take this offensively.”

“And besides, this name change is just phase one of an extensive rebranding project.” continued Snyder. “Soon, we’ll be introducing our lovely new cheerleaders, the Squawpettes, along with our zany new mascot Eddie Injun. Your kids will love old Eddie and his hilarious catch-phrase, ‘Me big heap-um crazy!’ So remember: HTTFBS! Hail to the Filthy Backwards Savages!”

    Awesome!

Your big long post to me the other night was one insult after another.
You don't need to name call to insult someone.
I had figured it was pretty obvious what I was referring to.

I haven't set any "sights" on you.
Actually it seems you have that backwards.

The Redskins’ business partners “would not appear to have much issue with this,” said David Carter, executive director of the Sports Business Institute at the University of Southern California. “They may not like it. But if they were getting push-back [from customers], they would be having meetings with the team and working with the commissioner and the league on it.”
What a huge loss it'll be.

The organization is used to huge losses.

    sooner...later...it'll happen for sure.

but don't take my word for it...

On Friday, a writer for Hogs Haven, a Redskins blog, said, “I know we want to hold onto our Redskins childhood and everything we know as normal, but the name change will eventually come.”

    Kevin Ewoldt of Hogs Haven:

If Washington was just awarded a NFL franchise and the team announced “Redskins” was the leading option, there would no doubt be outrage everywhere.

So, because it was inherited from the past it’s OK?

It’s the players and organization that matter, not the mascot. The fans will never leave our team. Twenty years from now Dan Snyder would be praised for this decision and D.C. will be just as happy rooting for their team as they are now.

You've already linked to that hogs haven piece. At least this time you're not claiming its the Hogettes. Kevin is entitled to his own opinion. He's also a bleeding heart liberal.

oh, you mean the one that was in reply to the following insult you hurled at me

    lol
Trivialize and deflect away, thats all r-word apologists have anymore.
This isn't about "me" of course, it's about the NA's who are hurt and offended.
now it all makes sense. you take unjustified jabs at someone, then cry foul when they respond in kind. that's why you didn't respond to my request, it would have forced you to admit you're the trouble maker. even if you believed you weren't the trouble maker, my offer to aplogize would have inspired a reply from any good natured poster. but not you. hmmm...very telling in-deed

our total exchange is right here on this thread, and it proves you took the first shot. but keep on making those unsubstantiated claims.

I didn't take an unjustified jab at you.
You openly challenged me to show how I step out from behind a keyboard to show my support on this issue YET you didn't make the same request of Hail who obviously is far more passionate about his side of this issue than I have been about presenting the NA's point of view as a counter.
(that rightfully can be viewed as you singling me out and setting your sights on me...no "big" deal but definitely deserving a return jab, mild as that jab was....considering)

I've made it clear I'm just discussing this issue on a message board here like I've done on other similar threads here and elsewhere. Your challenge also included and concluded by patting yourself on the back for how you claimed you support issues you passionately believe in beyond a keyboard...as an example I guess of how you feel I or anyone should equal and back my/our passion of any issue.

So you are wrong, you fired the first shot at me so the harmless "jab" in return wasn't at all "unjustified", it was just returning serve, so yes you do have it backwards.
Openly challenging me while not challenging Hail in the way you worded it...compared to my "mild jab" in return of...
Trivialize and deflect away, thats all r-word apologists have anymore.
...good Lord weird-O....you are quite the "drama queen" aren't you?
That explains why you interpret a returned jab or remark as a "fight".

(all that said I knew from experience in seeing Hails past exchanges here with other posters that my responding or challenging his stance that I would be inviting him to take shots at me and hurl insults as he likes to do.
I can take it....and don't mind giving it back if deemed necessary, just a little "slapping around". If he slaps me I'll slap him back, I or anyone else doesn't need to apologize for that...I'm farrrr from the first or only person here that does that)

The reason I didn't bother with your request was because to me the answer was obvious and still is.

I'm clearly not "the trouble maker".
It's a tad puzzling how you see me as the trouble maker but you give a royal pass to the guy who consistently responds to posters with insults and name calling like.. "moron", "idiot", "schmuck" and more....and where he even questioned a posters "manhood" once with a reply such as "your ____ is so small that you...".

    Ponderous man, ponderous.

Wow, the passion the REDSKINS incite in Baltimore. I love it.

Fact of the matter is the REDSKINS have 3 Super Bowls....the Baltimore team with the moronic name has but 2. The Ravens? Seriously? Your franchise is named after an ugly, stupid, scavenger bird. What, was Baltimore Grackle unavailable?

Our franchise is worth more. We beat you in 2012. We are inside your head ALL THE TIME.

    Hail to the Redskins!
