Since the establishment of The Ravens in '96, The Ravens have 2 and your team has zero.
Baltimore as a whole has 5 World Championships in what is universally considered and accepted as the NFL's "modern era" and an eye popping 18-7 in head to head regular season games.

If you confuse that defense with the one that beat An drew Luck, peyton manning on the road in denver plus tom brady on the road in new england plus the comeback kid colin kaepernick in the glare of the super bowl that would be foolish.

Another example of your teams fan base's "inferiority complex" rearing it's pathetic little head.

Wow, you can spin everything. The strike year argument is incredibly weak but not as weak as your excuse for losing to the REDSKINS this year.

    your response is weak.

The strike year comment was a fair mention, there is no argument.
The "reason" for losing to your team is factual.

Your inferiority complex is showing again.

o.k. Gino. I'm going to point out your inaccuracies/misconceptions

incorrect. in post #227, I asked another poster if those who are expressing great pains over the redskins name, are doing more than just typing about it. I used your name because, if you look back over these many pages, you will see that you are the poster who has been the most vocal. it's all right there for you to re-read.

YET you didn't make the same request of Hail
I actually never requested it of you either. I simply asked if you were doing anything. see how you've confused this whole thing? see why you come off as a guy who just wants to fight on the internet?

Your challenge also included and concluded by patting yourself on the back for how you claimed you support issues you passionately believe in beyond a keyboard...as an example I guess of how you feel I or anyone should equal and back my/our passion of any issue.
this is just a total lie. you won't find any post in this thread where I made these claims. seriously, this is such an outright lie, that I could report this post and ask that you be suspended for violating the TOS.

So you are wrong, you fired the first shot at me
you can, and will, keep saying this. but it won't ever be true. it's also the reason why I'm not going to continue to enable you in your obsessive/compulsive behavior. I could point it out to you 1000 times, but you'd come back for 1001.

...good Lord weird-O....you are quite the "drama queen" aren't you?
look at that, another TOS violation.

The reason I didn't bother with your request was because to me the answer was obvious and still is.
the thing that's obvious is that your interpretation of the truth is very eschew.

I'm clearly not "the trouble maker".
It's a tad puzzling how you see me as the trouble maker but you give a royal pass to the guy who consistently responds to posters with insults and name calling like.. "moron", "idiot", "schmuck" and more....and where he even questioned a posters "manhood" once with a reply such as "your ____ is so small that you...".
Hail didn't say any of those things to me. so why would I call him out for something he hasn't done to me? are you under the impression that I'm a SS moderator?
if I threw a penalty flag for every mean-spirited post I read, I'd barely have time to post my own comments. if you don't like how he conducts himself, do something about it. don't ask me to do it for you.

what's really giving me a chuckle is that you've convinced yourself that Hail and I are buddies. I'm guessing that idea has him laughing too.

look, I've already said most of this stuff to you in earlier posts. and if I keep enabling you with replies, you'll just keep posting lies and your seemingly intentional "misinterpretations" of my comments.

    enjoy fighting over the redskins.

Gino is the most outspoken on the subject. maybe he'll share his experiences of how he got out from behind the keyboard and did something to try and change a situation that he obviously feels very passionate about.
    Quite correct!!

CLEARLY you challenged me to share my experiences. You din't "simply" ask if I was doing anything.

I'm quite sure that calling someone a liar when they cleary aren't and they clearly prove you wrong pale in comparison to correctly identifying you as the obvious "drama queen" you are proving yourself to be.

No. That would be you and your (as I've pointed out before) your interpretation problem.

I've proven over and over again that the innacuracies and misconceptions are all yours and it's painfully obvious but what should one expect when you repeatedly can't even get my screen name right.

I've tried to ignore your ridiculous false accusations before to stay on topic but you wouldn't let it go. (remember......

Yup, it's obvious ...you want this (whatever "this" is, either redirecting the thread or challenging me)...not me.
I will address your crazy false accusations and not apologize for it as nobody should half to.

You're the one with the complex if you need excuses for your loss. Your team got beat. That's the only fact.

No "excuses" for any loss, a loss is a loss. Claiming I offered an excuse is your inferiority complex showing.

You brag about beating a defense a 3rd stringer beat, It's not only pretty funny, it's a fact. Thats your inferiority complex showing.

That right there is an excuse. Wow, you're thick.

Ignore that the beating came down to three rookies and your excuse is even worse.

How is it that you make excuses for losing to two rookie QBs and Charlie Batch and someone else has a complex?

Listen, we know your team wasn't impressive and will go down in history as a fairly obscure champion. You don't have to keep telling us why.

We get it, you have an inferiority complex and you're jealous.
You showed how you don't understand the words "hypothetical" and "hypocrite" already so of course you don't get it.

The defense that beat andrew luck and indy....and peyton manning and the broncos on the road....and tom brady and new england on the road....and the comeback kid colin kaepernic to win the Super Bowl?

They weren't the 2000 Ravens defense but they sure were "good enough" to get a Super Bowl ring.

And they lost to the Redskins, unless there was some scab team out there that no one knows about.

    Next excuse.

This is where you're 100% wrong. On so many levels. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

I understand not many people will look back on the 2012 Ravens like they do other SB winners, but to say they weren't impressive is incorrect and exposes your obvious agenda. Flacco had the second best postseason of any QB, ever, and Jacoby Jones 108 yard kickoff return is a SB record. Flacco's F-bomb and Jones' catch to force the Denver game into OT will be played until the end of time. They beat Luck, arguably the best rookie QB of 2012. Then beat Manning and Brady in their own house. Then they beat the Niners, who were the darlings of the NFL in 2012 with some pretty memorable plays. Not to mention it was Ray Lewis' last game, and Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh in the Super Bowl, the first time two brothers have faced off in an NFL game, ever.

There was plenty of memorable stuff surrounding the 2012 Ravens.

And that's not even mentioning 4th and 29.

So answer me this: Would you rather have the Redskins lose to the Ravens and win the SB? Or beat the Ravens and get eliminated in the first round?

Coming from a fan of the 1987 Washington Redskins, this is pretty ironic don't ya think?

1982 is more fitting. Strike shortened year. MVP was....a kicker.

1987 was Doug Williams, the only black QB to win a SB, so there's that.

True, but I was looking over the 1987 team though. The best rated QB was Ed Ruppert. The rushing attack was the inimitable three headed monster of George Rogers, Lionel Vital, and Kelvin Bryant. Clark had a good year but the rest of the receiving core had a down year (and I am a big Monk fan). I see nothing memorable about that offense whatsoever.

Maybe if they didn't set a real record of 35 points in a quarter, much less a half. That's a little different than giving up the most yards ever in a win.
