I have never been asked about voting at the MVA.

For those of us not in the know...why are people calling Jerry Walker a traitor? Who did the hard-core GOP'rs want in there?

It's hard to say. He did graduate from that bastion of lyberal thinking called Liberty University. My guess is that it has something to do with who was precluded from voting or maybe who sided with the three Democrats that voted as a block.

Ms. Neuman's selection stepped over the ambitions of some. There is a fear among some that she will support Howard County's excutive ~ Mr. Ullman ~ in the next gubernatorial race, making him a sudden possible frontrunner if she does because of her new and higher executive profile.

How so? And has either one ever accepted any responsibility?

Evidently ~ considering that he offered to resign. But I do not see how Steffen can be blamed for bringing in busloads of out~of~state homeless people and for the person who greeted them when they arrived, or for the other questionable tactics that were also used after he left. Can you say "robo~call"?

I simply do not see how Steffen's blog has any involvement with the last election or the current thread topic whatsoever. The comments he and other bloggers reported did not come from the Democrat Party. They came from people associated with the MDGOP. And they aren't bad comments, but observations.

OK, If you like to take the word of a know liar and slander monger.
I agree that the Ehrlich's are to blame and I hold them responsible for the acts committed in their campaigns. I never really thought the homeless thing was that big of a deal. But the robo call thing was disgusting and the actions of MD4Bush and Steffen were reprehensible. I was right there on Free Republic posting with them on the same threads. I remember it well.
In the end MD4Bush walked away with his career and reputation in tact. I think (i think you know) that Joe has continued to work on political campaigns.

We don't have to take his word. The offer to resign is well~documented in the press based on the order of events and the e~mail records they reported.

MD4Bush seems to have played the same role as one of those police officers who pose as underage children on the Internet to catch people trying break the law. What other reason would a Democrat (?) insider have for posting comments on the Freeper site as MD4Bush supposedly did? Who was MD4Bush in the first place? Were you among the "rumor mongers" on there, or were you on there protesting such actions? You admitted that you were "right there on Free Republic posting with them on the same threads." so you were either helping to spread the rumors yourself or you were trying to stop them. Which was it?

I really do not know that Mr. Steffen continues to work on political campaigns as you apparently do. Which ones? Democrats? Republicans? Both? Please share.

He was actively talking about it on Facebook a few years ago when I was FB friends with him. Since you and the other Ehrlich haters worship Steffen I assumed you were aware. I am sure he mentioned it on his bloggy thing.

Again ~ you are confusing dislike of one's performance and antics with "hatred" and "worship". While I do enjoy reading Mr. Steffen's blog, it is because I found his blog to be surprising self~deprecating and that he has a sense of humor. He's also taken responsibility for what he's said and done and seems to have many insider friends within the MDGOP, as evidenced by his appearances at various MDGOP functions, including those of Red Maryland where he sometimes agrees, sometimes disagrees, but never runs away from the discussion of certain topics. I do not always agree with what he says just as I was very critical of him on here during the reported events that led up to the whole "We need you. Ken" thingy.

I'm not sure why you seem to hate him so peronally since you talked to him on the Freeper site and said you were his friend on Facebook. It sounds like you actually agreed with him and even participated in the very things on the Freeper site that you now criticize him for doing.

I read quite a few blogs.

I dislike him because I think he knew he was spreading lies.
I may have mentioned the rumor but I never claimed to have first hand knowledge that it was true. After the way the Maryland mediacrats covered for Cheatdenning I think the rumor and the aggressive suppression on this site was newsworthy. Steffen should have known there was no truth to the story yet pushed it anyway. He also seemed to enjoy firing people and I find that disgusting.

And I criticized him for that on here, just as I did the one who hired him and had a political relationship with him for decades until that story broke.

So whose campaigns has he worked on since then? You never said. Given what you just said, that would indeed be interesting, especially if it's someone others on here have supported.

She also goes by the name Laura Neuman Volkman, according to property tax records of the residence she owns with her husband Paul Volkman in the Ferry Point area of Annapolis.
