Bongino certainly seems to have a hard time making up his mind since losing in the last election. He seems to frequently change statements about seeking, and then not seeking various positions in government and within the MDGOP.

I wonder if he was asked to step down to help pave the way for Kendel? There are a lot of at~will appointments a caretaker county executive could make. Perhaps Bongino would get one for stepping aside ~ should Kendel be selected.

It's pretty funny that some of you are still obsessed with LC! (and Ehrlich) Lord Calvert has moved on in life. He certainly isn't obsessed by skumspot.

BTW...I know many of the Calvert Clan and they are not too happy about what their founding state has become. But, that is also a large percentage of Marylanders from all places except Baltimore City, PG and Moco.

You might want to ask yourself and others that question should you ever feel the need to discuss anything that doesn't involve Baltimore County.

But as you predicted the GOP Councilman split their votes:

Councilman John Grasso, R-Glen Burnie, voted for Hammond, while Councilmen Dick Ladd, R-Severna Park, and Derek Fink, R-Pasadena, voted for Schuh.

Initially, both Trumbauer and Benoit voted for David Cordle, former Annapolis alderman and special investigator in the Anne Arundel State's Attorney's office. Benoit switched his vote during the second round, and Trumbauer during the third.

To say that Laura Neuman is an exceptional individual and a leader that has already produced exceptional results in the private and public sector based on her own efforts and leadership and entrenpreneurial instincts is an understatement. She is exactly what the MDGOP needs. Her choice seems to be as wise as it is a wonderful surprise.
