All the idiots who say they aren't going after all our guns read this. If they get this bull s$#t passed it won't be long before we have a full scale war on our hands.

Aren't you the poster who had the Palin avatar? Who was doting over all of her qualifications several years ago?

So, I guess you think everybody should be allowed to have hollow-point (aka, cop killer) bullets?

What a great human being you are.

I wonder what they'll do when every gun owner in the state simply ignores their BS; lock up hundreds of thousands of people?

That's about the only thing on the list with a shred of sanity to it.

Get a clue before you spout your yap. Of course we should be allowed to have hollow points. How in the heck can you defend your home with ball ammo? How is a hollow point a cop killer? Hollow points are a defense round genius.

The label of "cop killer" rounds doesn't make sense for those rounds. Optimally I'd prefer not to be shot. When wearing body armor I'd much rather get shot with a hollow point round because they expand on contact and have a lower probability of penetration. They're commonly used for close-quarter situations to avoid over penetration.

The cop killer part is from a person who probably got hit in the head by a puck a few too many times. That is if he even played.

Yes, they don't penetrate as far, but do a lot more damage when the do hit.

I think the early versions of this bullet, in the 80's, got this reputation from a NBC documentary that showed these bullets, which were teflon coated, as more easily penetrating Kevlar vests.

Anybody (This means you) who is this detached from reality should not be permitted to own a gun:

Adam Lanze DID NOT use an assault rifle!

everyone in the area where the killer ex cop is loose should immediately turn in their guns since we all know that is the only thing that will make them all safer .......

Yeah -- being unarmed really helped the safety of those newspaper carriers who were ambushed by the cops.

All I was doing was asking a question. That is why they are a defensive round. Armor piercing bullets aren't even close to the same. Hollow points expand and fragment when they hit. They are for killing and if someone is in my house trying to kill me or my family the last thing I want is a lousy ball ammo round that will likely just pass through giving the bad guy more time to hurt me or my family. I want to kill and kill fast if me or my family is in that kind of danger. Wouldn't you or would you rather watch helplessly as your family is raped and killed? Good luck with the cops getting there in time.

And it wasn't Dorner inside the truck, but a woman and her mother delivering copies of the Los Angeles Times.

Are you proposing disarming the police? I'm not sure what your point is.
