    Default Rapist killed in prison

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/mar...tory?track=rss

A man serving life in prison without parole was killed Sunday in an apparent homicide, Maryland State Police said, the third such incident since September at the North Branch Correctional Institution in Allegany County.

The suspect is another inmate, who was not identified pending formal charges. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

The inmate killed was identified as Ricky Bailey, 51. Bailey was convicted in 1991 of offenses stemming from when he and an accomplice broke into a woman's home and bound her and her 16-year-old daughter with tape for hours while they raped her 20-year-old daughter in another room. Bailey and David Wayne Hall, the accomplice, also forced the woman to rob her employer, a bank. Bailey also had previous convictions for violent offenses.
Really tough to find the downside. One guy just extended his stay and the dead guy should have been on death row any way. At 51 he could have been in prison another 30-50 years. At $22K per year and 30 years this just save taxpayers $660K

I know the victims of his crime. I'm sure they will sleep a bit easier now. For the most part they have gone on with their lives but it still haunts the oldest girl. He told her that if she screamed he would kill her sister

Why can't we elect politicans that would do what it took a jailed criminal to do.

You have been following O'liars rant about how the death penalty doesn't work?

    Oops. How 'bout those Ravens?

PS: Thanks to the inmate who did this for saving the taxpayers a lot of money.
