I don't get it. I don't get how they think allowing the players to go faster will somehow reduce the impact of collisions.
Watch how Bogar's crew let the players play in the Superbowl and adopt THAT. Allow more jamming of receivers down field. Call more offensive penalties for moving picks. Call more offensive penalties for receivers blocking downfield while the ball is still in the air. Allow and reward defenders for playing tight, physical coverage all over the field... and you'll reduce to speed of some of these impacts.
