LEGENDS LANE!
...is the answer!!
Change "Ravens Walk" into LEGENDS LANE and line either side with statues of former Baltimore Football greats who are in the Hall Of Fame leading into Unitas Plaza.
The 1st two "Positions of Honor" (the 1st two spots before you cross the street to Unitas Plaza) should be reserved for the Ravens first two draft choices and Hall Of Fame inductees, Jonathan Ogden and Ray Lewis.
The other spots should be filled in with old and new. Ed Reed will be a sure bet, maybe Suggs and Ngata and others...
Former Baltimore Hall Of Famers, Jim Parker, Gino Marchetti, Art Donovan, Lenny Moore, Raymond Berry, John Mackey and Ted Hendricks should be represented and their statues staggered so a Raven Hall Of Famer can be opposite. Do
NOT put "colts" and do
NOT show a horse shoe..totally unnecessary. Another benefit of staggering the statues is that initially the project would seem more substantial and give all an idea of the big picture of the project.
Statues would line LEGENDS LANE on pedestals with their individual accomplishments on a plaque on the front of the pedestal. Street lamps high above would illuminate each statue and help keep vandals away.
Network TV Camera's would walk down LEGENDS LANE passing all of our football greats as they stand guard leading into Unitas Plaza...quite impressive and unique.
Theres already a Facebook page galvanizing support for this incredible and unique tribute for ALL of Baltimore's Hall Of Fame legends.
