Default Who is the better organization? Ravens or Skins?

Who has a better organization? The Baltimore Ravens or the Washington Redskins. Some would say the Ravens because they have won 2 Super Bowls since 1996 compared to the endless futility that the Redskins organization has endured in that same time frame. Others would say the Redskins are a superior organization because they beat the Ravens in two meaningless games in 2000 and 2012 which happen to be the same year that the Ravens went on to win the Super Bowl. But enough talk. Let's vote. Who's the better organization and why?

greatness is measured in championships, not regular season vicitories that at the end of the day mean squat...in a word the deadkskunks are irrelevant....

The responses before this season, from any nonpartisan, knowledgeable fan or expert, ....would have the Ravens in the top 5 and the Potatoes in the bottom 5. Nothing's changed (SB title notwithstanding).

A troll-baiting thread that will probably garner 500 posts, double face palms, and nasty retorts.

there's isn't any question as to which team will get the majority of the votes. it's a Ravens board filled with mostly Ravens fans. the deck is definitely stacked in their favor. it's more challenging, but I would setup a similar poll in a Redskins forum and see what the results are. that would be far more interesting. I know how my friends, who are Redskins fans, would vote. but that doesn't mean the collective fanbase would be as objective.

this is on par with going to a Boston forum and asking, which team do you hate, the Red Sox or the Yankees?

The Ravens have been run well longer. The Redskins are showing signs of doing things right but time will tell.

I think Frank couldn't find his pee pee this morning and it upset him.

Wow a penis joke! you're really breaking out the big guns I give you credit for actually answering that first part honestly however. Must have killed you to do it. Too bad you don't have the integrity to answer my other question

In the days before Dan Snyder, this may have been a valid question. If Snyder has truly turned a new leaf and lets football people make football decisions, the Skins could be on their way back.

Ravens. The skins have a great history and some great memories but since the Ravens came into the league they have been the better run organization. I hope it continues that way. One of the most encouraging things I heard was from a few years ago when Bisciotti said he wanted to be like the Steelers and compete every year. That is what the Ravens need to aspire to, if you are in the hunt every year you are bound to win championships at some point. I hate the Steelers but their organization is well run.

CJ - you are the voice of reason. I also love that you have adopted my solution to the nickname controversy (Potatoes).

You know..... 2 of the Redskins Super Bowl wins came in strike seasons....

I always wondered how they would have ended up if they played in seasons that had solid 16 game schedules.....

Is this a troll thread to see if Hail will bite?

I mean, the fish stinks from the head down and Snyder runs the Skins. Nuff said.

I'm not sure why you would wonder that... in 1982 they had the best regular season record and had to go through extra rounds of the playoffs compared to years past.

In 1987, they played 15 games and their 1 game wouldn't have mattered at all. They had the same record as the Bears, and played them at Soldier field. If they had lost another regular season game, they still would have played the Bears at Soldier Field.
