Default "Patriot" Ted Nugent invited as SOTU guest by Republican Representative

Rep. Stockman from Texas invited "patriot" Ted Nugent to be his guest at the Presidents delivery of the State of The Union address.

    Linky

That's really going to help those who oppose the president's gun control proposals as much as it will foster Republican family values.

RawStory points to an excerpt from the interview on DangerousMinds.net. Snopes.com, a myth-busting site, also highlighted Nugent's quotes in an April 2012 post:

"I got my physical notice 30 days prior to. Well, on that day I ceased cleansing my body. No more brushing my teeth, no more washing my hair, no baths, no soap, no water. Thirty days of debris build. I stopped shavin’ and I was 18, had a little scraggly beard, really looked like a hippie. I had long hair, and it started gettin’ kinky, matted up. Then two weeks before, I stopped eating any food with nutritional value. I just had chips, Pepsi, beer - stuff I never touched - ... little jars of Polish sausages, and I’d drink the syrup, I was this side of death, Then a week before, I stopped going to the bathroom. I did it in my pants. poop, piss the whole shot. My pants got crusted up."

However, during a 2006 interview with the U.K.'s Independent, Nugent denied the whole story, saying, "You've got to realize that these interviewers would arrive with glazed eyes and I would make stories up. I never did crystal meth. And I never pooped my pants."

Steve Stockman Is the Nuttiest Freshman in Congress—Again

On Monday of last week, Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) announced that if President Barack Obama attempted to enact new gun violence prevention measures through executive order, he would have no choice but to file articles of impeachment. By Tuesday, he was comparing Obama to Saddam Hussein for using children as props at a speech introducing a gun control package. By Wednesday, he had stepped back from the precipice, asserting that "impeachment is not something to be taken lightly." After all, where did anyone get that idea?

This is the way it has always been with Steve Stockman: Light a fire; add some potassium nitrate; then stand back and gawk at the crater.

The Texas congressman, who is three weeks into his second term after a 16-year hiatus from the House, is almost certainly the only member of Congress to have been caught with 30 mg of valium hidden in a cellophane wrapper in his underwear. He's defended militia groups; accused an attorney general of "premeditated murder"; appeared on a Holocaust-denying radio program; waged a one-man war against Alfred Kinsey; compared his constituents—favorably—to Branch Davidians; and traveled to Denmark to protest climate change while wearing a red blindfold. The man who bested his 2012 opponent by 44 points isn't the most ballyhooed of incoming lawmakers. He's just the nuttiest. . .

I never saw you pipe up when Michael Moore attended the 2004 republican convention. He fit in there like a f#$t in a submarine. That guy's a conspiracy theorist and a bonafide fruit loop. And talk about a physically disgusting person!

You guys actually ELECT representatives to serve that are as bad or worse than Ted Nugent. Anthony Wiener? Barney Frank?

You'd bash Mother Theresa if she were alive and invited by a republican to attend the SOTU, Obama's lucky he's got anyone besides his captive audience to listen to him drone on about how we need to spend more money on welfare and other social programs.

You folks really break me up!

Democrat Liberal dirtbags and slimeballs are acceptable to the LWNJs.

If you fit their profile of what is allowable and acceptable, they will deign you "worthy" of attending.

If not, you will be vilified.

Despite their projected false front of "acceptability, compassion, caring, and inclusiveness."

The first rule of politics: when your opponent is self-destructing just stay out of the way. Nothing but upside for Obama here.

How proud Texans must be. Didn't Nugent promise he would be "dead or in jail" if Obama won re-election? Either way works for me.

How many out of wedlock children does Moore have? How many times was he forced by the courts to ante up child support? How many 17 year old girls has he made himself "legal guardian" of?

You may disagree e Moore's views but he isn't a Ted Nugent in terms of moral bankruptcy.

Love the "never" did drugs parts. Unless you count that meth and cocaine and couple joints. Who knew "never" was conditional.

Slow down, catch you're breath. You can't defend Nasty Nugent the Pimp, Rapist, Draft Dodger and Druggie. I picture Nasty Nugent running around in the woods high as a kite shooting at fireflies and spraying deer p___ on himself trying to blend in.

I don't understand how anybody that went to such extreme lengths to dodge the draft can be described as a 'patriot', a coward must surely be a better fitting description.
