I'm hearing that Rob Johnson (former head coach at Pikesville and Mt Carmel) will get the job.

Not until he gets a good d-coordinator. His teams have always scored points but the defensive side of the ball has always been pretty bad. Man this guy bounces around a lot. I thought he was doing good things at Mt. Carmel, start a program and leave a few years later? Very questionable in my book.

That's the way it works you do good things and sometimes something better opens up.

As far as the defensive side I'm pretty sure he will address that issue

Is New Town considered a step up? And I hope he addresses the defense. I know for a fact he spends most of his time working on his spread offense and puts the D on the backburner. Good luck to him.

On another note, Why did Holland step down? He just took his team to the Bank.

Interesting that you made that comment. This leads me to believe that you are a coach in Balt. Co. And yes it is a step up from Mt.Carmel. Congrats Coach Johnson. To bad we will not have a chance to battle each other in Balt.Co 1A Division.

Not a coach, just an outsider looking in. Why do you believe New Town is a step up?

New Town 1A is a solid program in an area with good talent. Holland had a good run at New Town. Love him or hate him, you have to admit that. Congratulations to RJ...PS, If I were you, I would keep the D coordinator...one of the best in the area.
