    Default Joe Flacco Speed

Can anyone tell me what Joe ran the 40 in as a rookie and compare it to what he runs today.

This is interesting....Tyrod Taylor had a faster 40 than Colin Kaepernick....4.52 vs. 4.53. Jake Locker & Cam Newton had the same time...4.59

Joe had a best of 4.84

This is a really cool page:

Hard to believe a hundredth of a second over 40 yards makes much difference, or even three tenths of a second. Joe looks to me like a giraffe when he runs, and obviously he only does it in need, but he does get it done and that is what counts.

Maybe we could tie a cheetah to his back.

Sounds like you've given it some thought.

(Let's get real, though. Paul Kruger once out ran a bullet. But Joe out ran a laser. It's true. 100%.)

But seriously...how fast is Joe? He's the fastest QB to ever win 9 post season games. That's how fast he is. Nuff said?

Flacco will never have the speed of a Scott (leap of faith ) Mitchel, the arm strength of a Trent Dilfer, the footwork of a Kyle Boller, the college pedigree of a Troy Smith or the star potential of a Stoney Case. That's why they call him 'average Joe'.

Actually, EVERYBODY should be a Joe Linta as far as Joe Flacco is concerned. It's a no brainer, isn't it?

To this day, every time I see a player fall with nothing in his way, or drop a ball out of his hands without anyone touching him or the ball, I say: "Yep...he just pulled a Boller".
