instead of Tyrod Taylor to back up Flacco.
I would say if he comes cheap (whatever Taylor makes), 'yes'.
agree or hate on?

No. All that guy does is bring unwanted attention to a team. The guy sucks.
Tyrod will make $555,000 next year. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/baltimore.../tyrod-taylor/
Tebow will make $2,586,875. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-york-jets/tim-tebow/
it's better to be a starter on a bad team than to be a bencher for a good team. let the man play football.
he took the Denver to the playoffs and got a W. that's more than Manning could do for the horsies.
I'd rather ask Kyle Boller to come back to back him up than take on that sideshow.
Is there a church in need of a pastor? Thats the only way Tebow would ever get a job in Baltimore.
I wish Tebow all the best because he is a good kid but no way in hell do I want him coming here. NO WAY IN HELL, NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.
Yes lets give Skip Bayless more reasons to rundown Joe:
Bayless: "Tebow would give the Ravens a much better chance to repeat as SB champs over Fluko, Tebow is a much better leader than Fluko."
They should convert him to a TE. But only if he could catch the ball.
Tebow, minus the media insanity his name carries, as a back-up wouldn't bother me. He's a gimmicky proposition at the position, but he can make some positive plays in a gimmick offense. Doubt he'll ever flourish as a classic pocket QB.
As for how much of a distraction he would be... I wouldn't worry about that AT ALL in the Ravens situation. There'd be NO QUESTION about his role here. Backup in case of emergency (at which point the game and/or season might be screwed anyway), maybe some change of pace looks here and there just to screw with a defense. That's it.
In Denver, it was Tebow or Orton. Really? All sorts of potential for "QB Controversy". With the Jets, it was Sanchez or Tebow. I always maintained that Sanchez was a marginally better QB than Kyle Boller (with "big mistake" potential to be worse at times). Sanchez was completely destined to screw up bad enough / often enough to trigger the Tebow debate.
Maybe 1% of buffoons around here would take up the "Start Tebow" banner when Flacco had a bad game. Maybe it grows to 2% if he has a few bad games in a short span. And you'd have a handful of talk radio calls. That's about it. Nobody with a brain would ever think Tebow represents a viable alternative to Joe Flacco at this point in their careers.
No... we don't need controversy.
Why would you even suggest this...?
no really, OP didn't even make any point about how Tebow would be a better back-up or what's wrong with Tyrod Taylor......
Tyrods doing his thing, He knows he's not a starting NFL qb, he's probably grateful he isn't in the same situation as troy smith or pat white
Tyrod can do more with the football anyway, on the ground and in the air.
I see him going to the Canadian Football League maybe. Certainly not here.
