Default Worst qb in NFL history

After seeing the Teebow thread..who do think is the worst starting qb in nfl history?

No metrics, stats or anything like that. Who do you remember watching and thinking, that is the worst qb ever. Throw out backups, just guys who were given the starting job to begin a season, or play the majority of a season and not because the starter got hurt.

I would have to go with Dave Brown.

You can't go wrong with any of the previous ones mentioned. Well...actually you very well could. I think that was the point.

Mike Phipps (yes, I've been a fan of Mr. Modell's team for a long, long time). His stats make Kyle Boller look like Johnny U.

And here's the kicker. The Browns traded a Hall of Famer (Paul Warfield) to get the #1 pick they wasted on him. So while some of you may dredge up some stiff who has slightly worse stats, you're never going to find anyone who gave less value for the price that was paid.

Grossman doesn't belong in there. He went to a Super Bowl and, as bad as he can be, is nowhere near one of the worst ever.

according to your logic, going to a SB is something any mediocre or below average qb can do....so choose which side of the argument you want to stand on....

    grossman belongs on the list....

Grossman isn't even the worst Bears QB ever, so there's no way he's one of the worst of all time...

Grossman proves I am correct that mediocre QBs go to Super Bowls That still doesn't remotely make him anywhere near one of the worst ever.

If Rex was good the Washington Lewinsky's would have kept him and NOT traded for RG3.
