if found guilty she should do the same prison time as a man would for having sex with a 15 yo girl .......
Sorry dude, I am we'll aware that both sexes have drives but the fact remains that the sexes are not the same. Deny as you might.
Some is cultural, some is hormonal, some in genetic, some is mental, most of it is individual. But it is all real.
Of course there are differences between the sexes but not in these cases. Your ideas are antiquated and sexist. Females don't need more protection than males do. The double standard is wrong and if a male teacher gets 20 years for having sex with a student then so should a female teacher.
Ok. I agree legally. But I disagree that the human sexuality is the same for men and women.
I am not saying that the sexuality is the same. I am saying that the females want it as much as the males do and there is no reason to give them more protection than males. I know that there are some daddies out there that think their little princesses are innocent little angels and they should be given more protection but that just isn't reality. Many times when their little princess is away from home with their friends they are just as promiscuous as their male counterparts.
And one would certainly hope that most adults would realize that. Some of the perceptions on this thread seem to be crossing over into the "creepy" side of things, attempting to assign some of blame to child victims and away from so~called adults who violated the trust placed in them to protect our children.![]()
No one is saying that the victims are to blame. My point is that there is no difference in the motivations of the victims to justify a double standard in the punishment of adults who break that trust. Demo and I agree that the adults in these cases should be punished the same no matter the genders of the victims or the perps. To believe otherwise would be sexist.
Bingo. A child may desire alcohol but the adult that facilitates them getting it is guilty and a creep. A child may desire sex but for an adult to provide it is illegal, immoral, and quite creepy. For the person to be in a de-facto position of authority over the child makes it even worse.
