    Default Ravens worst draft ever

Ozzie has done a fantastic job... but even the great ones miss on occasion:

Which draft was the worst ever?

    My pick:

    2004 - Baltimore Ravens

Should have traded all picks for a #1 the following year. : )

2 51 Dwan Edwards DT Oregon State
3 82 Devard Darling WR Washington State
5 153 Roderick Green LB Central Missouri State
6 187 Josh Harris QB Bowling Green State
6 199 Clarence Moore WR Northern Arizona
7 244 Derek Abney WR Kentucky
    7 246 Brian Rimpf T East Carolina

Sounds like the winner to me. To make it even worse, see who the Patriots got for our first rounder which we traded to them in 2003 for Boller.

    Wilfork for Boller seems fair.

Yeah, we definitely got the better end of that deal.

BTW - I was reading the article about Dixon going to the Eagles and I had totally forgotten that we brought Boller back in last summer for a tryout.

I'll never forget the radio interview w/Decosta right after the draft. He said it didn't matter that they didn't have a first round pick because they would have used it on Dewan Edwards any way...that's how much he liked him.

The 2004 draft hurt the team for years. One depth guy (Edwards), and nothing. That's not only the Ravens' worst draft, it's a contender for the worst draft by any team in the 21st century.

I'll glad throw away 1 draft in 15.

I can only hope that 14 of the next 15 drafts are as good as 14 of the past 15 drafts.

I am sure there were worse but that was easily Ozzie's worst draft.
