Musician bio books: Waging Heavy Peace, others?

I guess the leading artists of my generation (pun intended) are getting older and wiser. Less involved in touring, recording, and writing songs, they seem to be writing books. I recently read and particularly enjoyed Neil Young's Waging Heavy Peace. I liked that it was not the standard chronological progression, but was more stream of consciousness. That guy is brilliant and wildly quirky with a lot going on in his life, but I was struck by his admission that he has not (at least until the point the book was finished) written any songs since he stopped drinking and smoking pot. I look forward to hearing more about the new music technology (Pono) he is developing.

I'm now reading Bruce, Springsteen's biography, which is more of a standard sort of bio/history format, but quite revealing and interesting. Next I would like to read Keith Richards' and Pete Townsend's. I have already read Eric Clapton's and like it a lot.

The Keith Richards book is very well written.

Although they've been out for awhile, these are quite good:
