Garrant stole a total of $66,000 from the 87-year-old woman’s account during a 10-month period, starting in November 2010 and ending in September 2011, prosecutors said.

As for the 93-year-old man, prosecutors added, Garrant embezzled $53,500 from his account during an 18-month period that ran from April 2009 through October 2010.
