Sad that Maryland is leaving the ACC but the victory of an ACC Maryland team beating Duke was sweet.
Still mad as he** that Maryland's Board of Regents secretly approved the move to the Big 10 and the moronic ACC actually thought Pitt could ever be Maryland's rival. Pox on both their houses. I hope the ACC socks Maryland for all of the $50 million exit fee. The writing was on the wall when the ACC, a historically Southern conference, added Boston College.
Strange that for once I actually agreed with Mike Krzyzewski's comments last night, when he discussed the end of the tradition and the impact of the decision on Maryland basketball fans.
a good win for the program .......
that duke team isn't going anywhere this year ......
len outplayed plumlee big time .....
Good win for UMD
Going to miss these games
Enjoy the B10
That was an awesome game. The Terps played their best game in a long time.
Actually, both the French and French-Canadians.
Most definitely a derogatory slur:

GW's comments:

Could someone please tell me the main reason for MD moving to the Big Ten ?
football which translates as $$$$$$$ .....
big 10 bball is a better league right now but Duke / Md and UNC / Md has produced some classics (as well as terp / uva with buck v sampson ) ......
problem is, even if terps stay in ACC with the crappy expansion we won't get home games with duke and carolina every year anyway ......
Leave Jimmy John's alone! I eat there regularly.

Now, the tat shop a couple of doors down...well, the students can take that out, and won't miss it.
I completely agree with Gary when it comes to the basketball part of the ACC. It was always about Duke, NC and NC State or in other words, "Tobacco Road".
as for K-Rats comments on the Terps leaving the ACC F HIM!
Hey Coach K...Duke basketball isn't everything you DBAG ! Mind your own damn business.
Now I really hate the guy
Sam goes for McCallie....
What would all these venues do without Duke basketaball ? Sell fewer tickets, have less to dream about and JUST MELT AWAY INTO OBLIVION.
Who does she think she is ? and already ? .....she hasn't won an NCAA title.....and last time I checked the MD women have had the better program all time ...
man I hate Duke

Duke has nothing really other than basketball to brag about except a little lacrosse. I looked it up a few months ago and Maryland has 30 to 40 National Championships and Duke has around 10 or so (I can't remember exact numbers). This is across all sports at the respective universities. If you take away basketball and Duke is a bunch of losers.

when I read his comments, I thought, what class...blaming the loss on them being tired and his quote on "if it's such a rivalry than why are they leaving.....wahhhhhhhhhhh...F U coach K you are nothing but a whiny little B, and further more F U quinn cook, this is our city! you are just a sellout that couldn't graduate from dematha and had to transfer to a basketball factory.
I have been to more than 25 terp - duke games including in the final four and ACC tourneys and not a duke fan, but that said ........
being one of the top 20 schools in the country isn't so bad even if you aren't a sports powerhouse in all sports ......
seriously, they only have about 6,000 students and its more like an Ivy than a large state school sports powerhouse ........
I have been to cameron and I have seen bigger and ritzier high school gyms ....
I think its kinda neat the way the bball thing has worked out for them, competing at the top levels while remaining a top academic program .....
