I know a lot of extremely liberal people who like guns, so I disagree strongly.

Ii think it's a combination of "liberals against guns".

You have a noisy minority of gun banners, and a vast majority of "derp....ya, ban guns" type of followers.

Then there is a quieter minority of liberal shooters, with a smaller following from the "derp...Second Ammendment!" crowd.

Two unequal camps, with the anti-gunners outnumbering us shooters.
But I don't think it's as grossly unequal as it's often made out to be here.

'Makes for good smear political "commentary" though.

I realize laws vary from place to place regarding guns in bars, but we really don't know if or how much he had had to drink or if he would have been legally able to carry if he had been drinking.

They were intended targets. Being armed might have protected them from their killers. You really are making a stretch comparing these very different incidents.
Yes, they are different cases, but my main point was that there seems to be a different intensity in the reaction to deaths of innocent blacks and whites. There may be other factors at play here, but generally there seems to be a much higher level of coverage of white deaths.

    You're welcome.

I mighta just saved your life.

It's a real bad idea to assume that all liberals are against guns.

You might get yourself shot thinking like that.

According to the Obama-Feinstein axis of evil , the 2A refers to toy water pistols.

Maybe the coverage is higher for white deaths because they happen so infrequently compared to the number of blacks killed day in day out most of whom are involved in the drug trade.

Seems kind of early to get in to open, but I know little about the bagel business so maybe that's normal. I just think there's some weirdness about this situation that I'd be interested in finding more about.

The only kind of motivation I would think of for making something like this up is to get attention. I've seen someone do this to the police for attention claiming they were being stalked but they backed down when the officers started to investigate and realized what was going on and told her that filing false reports was a crime and they would pursue her. It's possible, but it takes a really sad individual to do that.
You think the bagels just make themselves?

How long do they take to make? Three hours is a really long time to prep first batches of similar food products. It's a chain so one would think they'd figure out how to make the process efficient.

By chance have you ever made bread?

The dough has to be "Kneeled" and than it sits to rise.... the time is up to 3 hours total before baking on certain types.

I'm not too sure about a commercial bakery but you can't rush what can't be rushed.

You were wondering why she would park in front of a closed building at that hour of the morning.

The one article stated that that was the time her shift started at the Bagel Factory.

You're still wanting to argue about the time?

I'm not interested in arguing. I am actually genuinely interested in finding out how long it takes to make bagels, and I'm surprised that it takes so long.

And why exactly should a private citizen be able to inflict a death penalty for a crime for which the state does not mandate a death penalty?
