Dont waste your time trying to talk sense to him. He is obssesed with race. What you said about the difference between the two named victims and the vast amount of others killed in the City is right on the mark but alas beyond his comprehension.

Do you mean Zach Sowers, not Zach Thomas? Also, he was walking home from a bar; do you want people carrying in bars?

Actually, musicmd has a point. It seems innocent white victims of murder in Baltimore City get more attention than innocent black ones. Does the name Larelle Amos ring a bell for anyone local?

I admit, I had to look it up, but I remembered an innocent woman shot by someone firing a gun a block away on the Alameda.

Now perhaps Sowers and Pitcairn had family and friends more adept at keeping those cases in the public eye.

MYRTLE BEACH -- A 46-year-old woman told Myrtle Beach police she fended off a would-be robber early Friday by kicking him and then pointing her gun at him, according to a police report.

The victim told officers that at 2:50 a.m. Friday she arrived for her shift at work at the Bagel Factory at 2012 N. Kings Highway when a man opened the driver’s door, police said.

The victim said she kicked at the robber, who had something covering his face and a hooded sweatshirt over his head and a black hat, and he pushed her into the vehicle in an attempt to get her purse, according to the report. The victim said she continued to kick at the man until she reached into the glove box and retrieved her handgun.

The victim said she pointed the gun at the suspect and he turned and ran south toward 19th Avenue North, according to the report. Officers found a locking blade knife on the floorboard of the vehicle and the victim told police it belonged to the suspect but she didn’t see it during the attack.

    Detectives are investigating the incident.

You seem to be the one afraid of guns. Did your mom make you wear a skirt when you were a child?

Why would you ask something like that? That is a strange question. I never claimed to be a big gun man.

Because you attack people who don;t agree with you. At least the stuff I read. You act like a bully so stealing lunch money as a child is natural.

How did I attack someone who didn't agree with me? Scameron singled me out with his boo BS. Then you stick you nose in the middle. Are you feeling neglected sport?

It happens to the best of us, but there are some posters I never reply to no matter what they write or call me. It's not worth my time.

Yes i meant Sowers. My mistake. As far as he being in a bar BEFORE he was set upon and murdered by four sociopaths so what? Does being in a bar before you leave and TRY to walk home safely strip you of your right of self defense once you hit the sidewalk outside the bar?

The case of Ms. Amos, as tragic as it is, is not the same as what happened to Sowers and Pitcairn. Ms. Amos was the unintended victim of a shooting, as the police reort and article you quote make clear. Being armed herself would not have protected her from someone shooting her accidentedly a block away. Sowers and Pitcairn were targeted by their killers as they walked home. They were intended targets. Being armed might have protected them from their killers. You really are making a stretch comparing these very different incidents.

I singled you out because you had the stupidest post.

Your cronies referred to "gun grabbers" "banners" etc.

    You referred to "Liberals."

I don't expect you to get it.

    But I'm happy to help.

AND though I'm gonna let it go soon I cannot forget that you don't appear totally connected to reality:

Adam Lanze DID NOT use an assault rifle!

What don't I get? "Liberals" are the one constantly putting up gun crime stories. If that woman had killed her attacker some LWNJ would be whining about the use of deadly force. Liberals are against Capitol punishment. Liberals are against guns, period. You must be out of touch not to know that. WOW!
