I'll go ahead and add those to the schedule. I like that Week 1 Dover-Urbana game. Should be a nice test for both teams.

I assume Northwestern is the one in Baltimore City. I think you mean the Baltimore County Chesapeake because AACO doesn't play non-league games.

That's really interesting. This will be the first time AACO has played non-county games since the late '90s. The official AACO schedule doesn't have that game yet but they do have North County playing Lansdowne Week 1 (http://calendar.digitalsports.com/ca...0High%20School) and Fairmont Heights is on Southern's official schedule (http://calendar.digitalsports.com/ca...chool%20-%20AA) which would seem to point to only 9 county games being mandatory now.

Here's some other early interesting discoveries:

-It appears that the MIAA B will be doing what the MIAA A did last year and starting their playoffs in Week 10. This is because of the real late start this year (Week 1 this year is 9/6, last year it was 8/31). Otherwise the playoffs would go past Thanksgiving.

-It looks like my information about Severn returning to the B Conference is correct, as they appear on both B Conference schedules I have.

- Archbishop Curley is not listed on the Saint Mary's schedule (http://www.stmarysannapolis.org/page.aspx?pid=802), which is odd considering that Saint Mary's is definitely staying in the B Conference. Saint Mary's doesn't have a game Week 5 yet, so the Curley game may be played on that date. Curley is on the Saint Paul's schedule though.

- my information about Annapolis Area Christian returning to the C Conference also was correct based on their official schedule

- the MIAA C Conference is down to 5 teams, losing Saint Frances to the A Conference and Severn to the B Conference while addding AACS from the B Conference. It looks like they're only having a championship game, played on Week 10.

- with Westminster dropping to 3A, the 1A schools in Carroll County (North Carroll and Manchester Valley) return to their schedule.

CHC is also playing St. Peter's Prep. The same team McDonogh played last year. It's apart of the Patriot Classic, which will be in Jersey this year. Gilman plays Paramus Catholic, who was the #1 team in NJ last year and will be their top team this year.

In comparison to years past, yes. Much better than Niagara and Maryland Christian. But the Florida team isn't a Florida powerhouse and St. Peter's Prep is the 5th best team at best in Jersey.

Trinity Catholic sounds like a very good, if small, program. I'd be pretty surprised if CHC can hang with them for 4 quarters.

They better be working very, very hard in the weightroom if they want to roll with a Florida school that owns 2 state championships, and 4 state championship appearances in only 11 years as a football program.

*Yes it was in division 2 but i'm inclined to believe "division 2" football in Florida can match up with anything played in Maryland except the loaded Good Counsel and Gilman teams of recent memory.

I know a coach in the Miami area. He say they are a small school but carry a reputation. They are Pahokee High's cross town rival. Pahokee has a boatload of active NFL players.
