Default To Large for a Massage?

Excuse #1.........The doctor was probably on a lunch break......never break-up a lunch break.

"Laura Smith trains with a running group for a half marathon in May, but she couldn't run away fast enough from a painful situation last month. She had just completed a half marathon in Arizona and couldn't wait for a massage at Natural Healing Center. "I had planned it specifically for the day after my marathon, because I knew I'd be hurting," Smith said."

"She, the doctor comes out and she says, 'I'm sorry but you're too fat for our tables. You're going to probably break a table and then you'd have to pay for it.' And I was like, in shock, like I'm hearing this?" Smith said."

Penny Wells, the owner of Natural Healing, wouldn't talk on camera, but she says she called Smith large, not fat. And she worried a table might collapse because one had broken under a 165-pound man.
Good luck finding any men that weigh less than 165 pounds. If this is even true, time to invest in real massage equipment rather than fold-out tables from Target.

Its guess its your lucky day, I weigh less than that. Funny how people think everyone is like them. Just because you may be a tub doesn't mean everyone is.

How far was this "marathon" that a 250 pounder ran?

you guys are terrible for real. jeez.

How long of a distance can any of you run?

She left the center in tears. She's 6'3" and had massages even before she'd lost 47 pounds to drop to about 250.

"I mean I'm not tiny, I know that, but I'm working on it," Smith said.
    good for her.

    shame on them.

That's funny. I weighed 190 (at 5'11"), played indoor soccer twice a week, trained and competed in Brazilian Jiujitsu and lifted weights 3-4 days a week. No one would have called me a "tub" either.

You have to be honest with yourself - you are small for an adult male. Good on you though... you will likely live longer than most.

she looks big to me but I'm pretty small.....anyway where I go to get my nails done they have turned away a few big ladies because of the pedicure chairs breaking under the weight.....just thought I'd put it out there...I can't speak for massage tables.

I am 5'7" and relatively lean. My point was that EWB acted as though someone that size is rare and I countered.
