Of course it would be excluded there.

Anyone who knows how it went down's list. There never was any legislation and no real fear of there ever being any. It was typical political grandstanding and that would have amounted to nothing. The real reason Cooke left was because Sharon Pratt Dixon was dragging her feet and the there kept popping up issues with the land being contaminated around the river. Cooke preferred Virginia but couldn't find a spot because of the NIMBYs and then he settled on the spot in Landover because he was in a hurry to build the stadium before he died. He didn't make it. There was never any issue regarding Campbell's little threat and only a revisionist historian like you would even think so.
I remember it well because I am a fan and I lived through it. You can go to Wikipedia all you'd like and won't make anything so.
allow me to help your clouded imperfect memory:
"Years later, while the Redskins were attempting to build a new stadium inside the city, senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell introduced legislation that would have required the team to change its nickname before building such a structure in Washington.
According to The Washington Post, then-owner Jack Kent Cooke, unwilling to comply, eventually moved the construction outside of the city."
linklook hail, no wiki"It was a U.S. Senator from Colorado who took up the charge when owner Cooke wanted to build a new stadium near the team’s historic but aging home at RFK Stadium, virtually in sight of the U.S. Capitol. Ben Nighthorse Campbell introduced legislation requiring Cooke to OK a name change. The move was rumored to have prompted Cooke to build a new field, named after him, out near the Beltway in Maryland, a half-hour drive away."

You don't seem to know what bleacherreport is either. It makes wiki look like the Encyclopedia Brittanica. LMAO
Your sources suck and your information is incorrect. At least you're consistent.
All Campbell did was grandstand. He's good at that.
You convienietly ignore that the 1st link is merely "powered by the Bleacher Report" but it is from The Baltimore Sun web site (i.e.: properly vetted before posting) and it site's your Washington Post
The source (The Washington Post) sucks to you because you don't agree with it, at least you're consistent."Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell (D-Colo.) has introduced legislation that would require Cooke to change the name of the Redskins before a stadium deal is approved. The name has drawn protests from American Indian leaders, including Campbell."
(just another "activist" grandstanding :roll eyes: LMAO)

Is that it? Thanks for the help, doctor. Tell me, if you moved from Balmer, would you raise your kids to support Baltimore teams? Then, once you've answered that, tell me who you would want your kids to support if your new town didn't have a baseball team? I can't wait for your response.
Yes it doesIt doesn't link to the Sun at all
if you read the article and click on the word "According" which is in BOLD and it precedes the words "to The Washington Post" it does have the link just as I have replicated and provided for you here. Not too difficult.and all this "writer" does is mention the Washington Post. Also, no link or source or proof.
You're really not good at this, are you?
...and then there's the pesky Aspen Daily News article and link.
