Police want to identify women seen over two decades by a Johns Hopkins gynecologist who was found dead on Monday amid a police investigation that he was surreptitiously photographing and videotaping his patients.

The doctor, identified as Nikita A. Levy, 54, was let go by Johns Hopkins Medicine earlier this month after a colleague alerted security staff to the allegations, hospital officials said. They said Levy had been capturing images of patients with personal photo and video equipment.

Police uncovered what they called an "extraordinary" amount of evidence at Levy's Towson home.

A Hopkins physician for more than two decades, Levy practiced gynecology and obstetrics at the East Baltimore Medical Center, a community clinic near the main hospital campus.

Default Gynecologist Accused Of Recording Patients For Fetish Porn Found Dead

Frankly I am happy the sick puppy is dead.

    http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2013/0...ts-found-dead/

TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) — Police say former patients of Dr. Nikita Levy were violated by their gynecologist and with a video camera. The invasion of privacy could be worse than first reported. Numerous patients at Johns Hopkins may be victims and some of them are voicing disgust and outrage. Adam May has more.

Investigators have growing concerns and are checking to see if Dr. Levy may have recorded underage patients. Baltimore City police have set up a tipline for patients: 410-396-2269.

Federal authorities are actively involved in the investigation of Dr. Nikita Levy. The Johns Hopkins gynecologist was fired earlier this month and was accused of secretly taking pictures and video of his patients during examinations.

Default Accused Hopkins Gynecologist Suffocated Himself With Helium

Accused Hopkins gynecologist suffocated himself with helium

Johns Hopkins gynecologist Dr. Nikita A. Levy wrote an apology letter to his wife before wrapping a plastic bag around his head Monday and pumping it with helium, killing himself in the basement of his Towson-area home, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the investigation.

Along with the letter, he left behind multiple hard drives, computers and servers that police have seized and are scrutinizing, police said. More than 300 of Levy's current and former patients have contacted officers, fearing that they are pictured in images he is accused of secretly capturing, Baltimore police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Wednesday.

Meanwhile, state health regulators have launched an inquiry of their own into an independent review that Johns Hopkins Medical System officials are conducting, a health official said.

I'll bet that's the first time the police had to draw a chalk outline on the ceiling.

Well somebody had to say it!

LOL, Wiz. Did they tie a ribbon to him and have him float outside the coroner's vehicle while taking him to the morgue?

Maybe they should post pictures of all of the victims asking if anybody has seen them.

I don't mean this to be as insensitive as it's going to sound...but what does it matter (ID'ing) now that the guy is dead?

The have to determine the extent of the crimes committed and the number of victims, and there is an ethical responsibility to try and notify victims who might yet not be aware that their privacy was so violated. Hopkins is going to wind up being involved in some hefty lawsuits.

Coming from you, I take that as a compliment.

Unfortunately, I can't take all of the praise. Wizard777's post about a chalk line on the ceiling made me do it! Honestly, he's a corruptable force to be reckoned with.

I don't know what the symptoms of death by helium are but it does make me wonder if the doctor felt light-headed before his demise.

I think it is safe to say that this guy was a hug fan of vagina. He made a career out of it and it still was not enough.
