They're not mutually exclusive, and the fact is this fellow was in a tea party group, so he is at the very least a tea party "type."

Trying to find where it says he's a tea party member?

I said he was a tea party type.

But yeah, he was in a tea party facebook group too, so my opinion of him is apparently quite accurate.

Indeed they do! In fact, we are watching that principle in action right now.

So you are saying most people saw Hitler's motives and went along with him? Personally I think most Germans were hungry and wanted to believe someone had the answers to improve their economy. Sound familiar?

Anybody that compares any U.S. Presidents to Hitler does not deserve to be taken seriously.

Neither the geopolitical nor the sociopolitical aspirations of the NSDAP were any great secret from the very beginning - in fact, the party used them as selling points.

An occasional nut making a fool of himself is hardly cause for worry. It is the quiet, determined and incremental dismantling of our system and society that puts us in true peril.

Spare us the paranoid bull. Lay out some specifics.

Look at government growth over the last 50 years. Look at the relinquishing of local power to states and states to Washington, an ever expanding movement in one direction. Look at the numbers of agencies that now exist. Look at the percentages of all workers who work for some form of government. Look at the ever growing number of laws that govern the choices people can make from what they eat, smoke, drink, drive or wear to the products they can use or whether they can start a business and, now, what type of healthcare they can expect. Look at the laws governing acceptable speech, verbal or written. These are all experienced in every day life and easily verified. Naturally, those either too young or too naive to realize what has happened and continues to happen, will simply laugh it off. Therein is the greatest danger.

Oh, and don't bother coming back with some nonsense about wanting to breathe dirty air and drink dirty water. That's gotten rather old.

As you can see by this post, I'm not someone who is whining about a climate change armageddon. I didn't even vote for Al Gore. So I'm not sure why you're directing that comment at me.

What about the laws trying to prevent women from being in control of their own bodies? Or which people can get married and which people can't? And what are the speech laws you are referring to?

    Surprise - I agree.

Although Hitler's "final solution" was a closely guarded secret, held only by some members of the Schutzstaffel.

I read one report where a law enforcement officer was almost apologizing for arresting the guy. Not sure why. He was a prohibited person in possession. He should have been arrested and locked up.

There are apparently a few cops who want to assassinate democrats too. A whistleblower was fired just recently for revealing that.
