Some people think that is why he rarely, if ever, makes a public appearance...When was his last one 2010 or something??

I already did. See, I already know how to search the Internet. Here is an overview of sites found:

    DailyKos
    Truthdig
    DU
    Political Humor

    and more of the same.

Along with the "stories" about Bush, are stories that Bill Clinton is suffering from dementia. I guess those stories are true.

& Whatever "doesn't seem that bad" is now an American language euphemism for ringing, resounding success: G.W.'s artwork not that bad; G.W.'s presidency not that bad; invasion of Afghanistan, Iraq not that bad. Armed forces' failure to "defend & protect" the nation on 9/11 not that bad.

Americans awfully tolerant: we cheer, nay, worship whatever "doesn't seem that bad." Our guys taking 10-12 yr to battle 13th-century enemies to a draw doesn't seem that bad. & So we reward, promote, advance, praise, worship, canonize those architects of schemes that don't seem that bad.

We demand so little that when we get so little, it just "doesn't seem that bad."

Never really admired a Hitler before. And with all the comparisons to old Adolf Blunderboy drew, Bush is definitely better at the easel.
