Hello
Hello
He's too small, undisciplined with a low football IQ, the product of subpar high school coaching who played in an inferior 1A league. It's all smoke and mirrors of a hotdogger! Just ask OLI.

Like they said he plays fast
Im sorry. And you played on what state championship team, and then went on to play at what college? Oh by the way, in which round of the draft were you chosen? I think we missed it. Stop hatin, clown. Just ask Oklahoma if those 572 yds (344 on the ground) he put up on them was all smoke and mirrors.
What the opening poster was referring to was some of the local perspective 4 years ago when TA was heading off to Morgantown. Some believed he was in over his head 4 years ago. I think anyone who saw him play in person back then (Dunbar) recognized that size was not a factor at all. In addition to the most blinding combination of speed and quickness, this kid had (has) the most incredible vision and instincts (gifts from GOD not coaching) that I've ever seen on ANY level, and most importantly, the SWAGGER & confidence this kid has. Not only has he become one of the greatest EVER college all around players, but he is THE talk of the NFL combine and a sure fire 1st round pick based on his performance there.
Its time for all of the posters to give Tavon his props...the kid will go high in the first round enstead of high in the second round or low in the first round because of whats in his head and not his talent...Although Tavon struggle to adjust at Wvu early, on, he went on to become a very good scholar athlete whose focus was in the class room first and not so much as the feild.....he has turned into a high charactor guy of all things and this entitity has improved his draft stock exponentially.
The VAST majority of the posters on this board have known and stated for a long time that Tavon is an explosive talent and that he his talent could take him as far as he wanted to go. Sure, there were a few naysayers, but there are always going to be some contrarians. I see him going right in the middle of the first round, which admittedly is higher than I predicted a few months ago.
He never looks like he’s going that fast. That’s the beauty of it. Having it is one thing but it's knowing when to turn it on and off that will make his pro highlight tape look like his college highlight tape which looked like his high school highlight tape. That kid got something that isn’t given away very often.
