    Default PSL Prices?

Looking at 4 PSL's in End Zone Upper Deck, row 16. Does $11,000 sound like a fair price for these seats. $2,750 a seat, if your splitting it with three other guys, do you consider that over-priced? Appreciate your opinions?

Hmmm... Face value for a PSL in that zone now is $1000. So you're paying nearly three times the real cost of that PSL. My opinion... now is not the ideal time to be buying a PSL off the secondary market. Coming off a Superbowl win, they're probably at the peak of peak value. I say this only because I have no plans to ever sell my own... The only way that mark-up goes higher is probably if they somehow repeat in 2013.

Anyway, at that sort of freight... I'd probably lean towards just picking up tickets through the re-sale sites during the season. I'd look at it this way... at $1750 about face value for the PSL, you could pay $75 over face value for three whole seasons before you're at a comparable total cost.

Personally, if I didn't already have PSLs, I'd be on the wait list... and looking for better deals in the meantime. The pending massive defense budget cuts that look to be all but inevitable at this point are going to take a big toll on the beltway corridor too. This area weathered the recession pretty well because government / military spending wasn't really affected. The next round of cuts are a different animal. I'm usually a pretty optimistic type... but the Baltimore / Washington area is slated to take a big hit here very soon. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see discretionary spending drop drastically around here very soon.

All that said... if you've got the money and it's of no consequence... and you just want to get PSLs and be done with it... that's your call!

Ravens2006 pretty much nailed it. I'd wait too.

I sit in section 535. My PSL cost $500 in 2000 and I think goes for $750 now (Ravens price). $2,750 sounds a bit steep to me. But I have no idea what the going price is on the open market.

(edit - $750 was the price 4 or 5 years ago. Judging by someone else's post it may have went up again). But the asking price you quoted still sounds a bit much.

    I bought mine from a friend in 2006 for $2000. Section 540, row 20.

It was probably high at the time but it was money well spent. I am looking to buy my buddy's PSL from him when he is ready to sell so I can have two together.

So $2750 doesn't sound outrageous to me, especially considering the Ravens are SB champs.

That sounds high, I'm in 519 and I paid $750 a piece for them about 4 years ago, whcih I what I think the guy the owned them pad. He is his buddy were just looking to get their money back on them, so I was lucky.

If I sold them, I'd look to make a profit to be honest, but end zone upstairs, $2750 seems high too me. Just my opinion. Of course, coming off a SB win, they're is going to be demand for them.

    here is the marketplace website...
I dont think that there is high demand for seats right now...

I think your price is high...
I got two seats - lower level for $2500 each 5 years ago...
this fall someone in a nearby section was selling lower levels for about $6000.
