This'll be fun. Apoplexia is a commin'
For the record... I didn't really need to see that but this at least will be entertaining...
I guess ya'll are disappointed...
I watched about ten minutes of the oscars. I must have missed her. And for the record ten minutes is more than my total time spent listening/watching Limbaugh or Hanity. I do check Drudge's site most days.
I do wonder how much tax payer money was spent so that she could sell her image as a celebrity.
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/michelle-ob...053625676.htmlAppearing live on screen from the White House in Washington, almost 3,000 miles from the Oscars ceremony in Hollywood, Obama praised the work of the movie industry before announcing the Iran hostage drama "Argo" the Best Picture winner.
Oh, ok. She did it by video from DC. Well I guess I am back to not caring at all.
The line between politics and celebrity has been blurred. The Obama's have more in common with the Hollywood elite than they do us. So why not? It makes sense.
No need for a meltdown. I usually reserve that for things that are actually important. Anyone who would waste a couple hours of their life watching that garbage probably needs psychiatric help. At the very least, they need to get a life.
I don't watch the Oscars.
My children are my legacy.
She did a great job. In fact, she was more relaxed and elegant than the Hollywood folks.
(Sorry to dissapoint Joy In Mudville. I actually like the First Lady, it's her husband's politics I don't like.)
I didn't watch the Oscars, since I haven't seen any of the movies that were nominated.
For some, watching the Oscars is not politically correct.![]()
sigmalady - I rarely go to the movies but read People Magazine to keep up on what movies are out there.
My children are my legacy.
I don't watch the Oscars, the Grammy's none of awards shows because I think they're boring, but they are obviously televised for those who enjoy watching. There are other shows that I do watch that others may find equally boring. To each his own.
I'm not sure what the big deal is here.
Nor do I SoSad.
My children are my legacy.
