Do yourself a favor and read the book The Horse Soldiers, and you will see the US had troops in Afghanistan shortly after 911. The Taliban were driven out of Afghanistan long before Obama became President and more and more of them have been going back there since he took office.

Bin Laden was in Pakistan remember? He has also been dead for quite some time and the bodies of US servicemen and women keep flying in to Dover. Kind of hard to defend the indefensible for your Idol isnt it?
