Pitched yesterday, which is a feat in and of itself considering the injury history and the hang-ups on his contract. He was hitting 93 MPH, too.
From rotoworld:
If he can stay healthy and keep up his velocity in the low 90's, he could be a good option to have for the rotation and/or the bullpen.Jair Jurrjens started and allowed one run in two innings Sunday in the Orioles' 5-4 win over a Blue Jays split-squad.
Jurrjens hit 93 mph on the gun, according to MASN's Roch Kubatko, but it sounds like he was more consistently at 89-91 mph. He'll probably need to pitch in the low-90s consistently in order to be of any use to the Orioles. Feb 24 - 4:34 PM
