People like to associate child sexual abuse with the Roman Catholic church, but it's also a problem for other churches and religions.

If kids are behaving badly because of writing on a tee shirt, I'd suggest the problem is less the tee shirt and more the student behaving badly.
It was drilled into me as a child that when you are at school, the constitution doesn't apply to you.

They can take your toys away. They can make you change your clothes. They can even tell you when you are allowed to use the rest room or make a phone call.

Other churches don't have the top down authority that the RCC has.

They can't shield their rapists like the Catholics can.

    Another article on this student.

The teen acquired the shirt, which read, ”Don’t drink and park… accidents cause kids,” at a Christian conference she recently attended. But the message was apparently too offensive for education officials.

“I got through lunch, and on my way back, the assistant principal tells me I need to go to the office and change my shirt,” she told WOFL-TV. ”I was pretty upset. I thought it was silly. It’s not like I was wearing a curse word or something that was promoting violence.”
    My children are my legacy.

Well, actually you have to pay to go to a Catholic school and they do not force parishoners to attend or pay for schooling. Many Catholics send their kids to public schools. I have one kid left in school, a senior and he attends a private non denominational school which is attended by kids from many religions. My oldest two attended Catholic school, but that was mine and my wife's decision.

I appreciate your using the word some. The are some on the secular side who like to paint all Christians with the same brush.

For you, one is politically correct so should be permitted.

So if the shirt said, practice safe sex, I guess it would be banned too, it is suggesting practicing sex in a certain way.

I don't know, this all seems too PC to me.

No speech is entirely free. We've just taken PC to the ridiculous, IMO of course.

Very true but the leap I made was far more logical than the leap the OP made in his post!

Yes and her parents claim that she was "dressed for success." Bottom line is the shirt had inuendo and the policy was no inuendo.

Its clear that I was responding to Researcher's jab at public schools.
