I wouldn't either. Way too much talent in other positions without question in the the first two rounds. I'd like Vaccaro or DJ swearinger. Austin for now. Linebacker seems deep.
If he drops to the fourth round, I'd takle him. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone picked him early.
Remember when Suggs ran a 4.84?
The 40 at the combine is way overrated by the public and media; I don't know how important it is to scouts and GMs. What you're looking for is a football player, the complete package: athleticism is part of it (which also includes hands, strength, balance, etc.), as is football instinct, "motor," hunger, team character, and all that stuff, not to mention common sense.
I cannot see why the Ravens would pick Manti any earlier than the fourth round. Just too many IFs about that guy. Can anyone say Sergio Kindle?
Hard to see him dropping into the second day. When the coaches put on the tape they will see a good football player.
Tavares Gooden went in the third round and that guy couldn't even play in college.
Manti will drop to the second round, but probably not any less. He's questionable as a pro. He played well, but most of the teams Notre Dame played this year were not as fast or as physical as Alabama. In that showcase he got pushed around big time. As a pro, he would need some work.
Ozzie is an Alabama guy. You think he's going to take a player that Alabama embarrassed?
No chance.

Haha this just keeps getting better and better. He just doesn't know when to shut up. Can't wait to see him still on the board in the 5th round.

I predict he becomes an undrafted Free Agent
