Default window for American military operation opens in June

.‘Obama to tell Netanyahu US gearing up for Iran strike’

When he visits Israel next month, US President Barack Obama will tell Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that a “window of opportunity” for a military strike on Iran will open in June, according to an Israeli TV report Monday evening.

Obama will come bearing the message that if diplomatic efforts and sanctions don’t bear fruit, Israel should “sit tight” and let Washington take the stage, even if that means remaining on the sidelines during a US military operation, Channel 10 reported. Netanyahu will be asked to refrain from any military action and keep a low profile, avoiding even the mention of a strike, the report said, citing unnamed officials.

Netanyahu said earlier this month that he and Obama had agreed on three key areas of consultation during the presidential visit — thwarting Iran’s nuclear drive, grappling with the instability in Syria and the risks of WMD there falling into rogue hands, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The President of the United States should worry about and take care of America's problems FIRST.

Not sure I believe the Israeli times, but John Kerry re-iterated this sentiment in early February.

Secretary of State John F. Kerry struck a tough note Friday on Iran, saying that there is still a chance for diplomacy but that the administration is “prepared to do whatever is necessary” to deny the regime nuclear weapons.

President Obama has always been consistent in saying two things: One, Iran would not be permitted to gain nuclear weapons, and two, the time for diplomacy would eventually run out. There is still time for Iran to back off of their program. Let's hope they do. That would end up being the greatest accomplishment in the president's legacy.

That lying Zionist, Netanyahu, was spewing this alarmist BS as far back as 1995. Today, in 2013, 18 years later, the Zionist liars are still working to get the U.S. to attack Iran, still claiming Iran will have the bomb “soon”.

Remember how the invasion of Iraq was sold:
"We don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud."

America has to stop Iran ... for Israel.

Where's the proof of a nuclear weapons program?

Most of Iran’s uranium is enriched to 3.5 percent, for the Bushehr electricity plant, while a small fraction is further enriched to 20 percent, the level needed for the US-built Tehran Research Reactor, which makes medical isotopes.

Indeed, US intelligence agencies have repeatedly conceded in “threat assessments” that Iran’s program is purely civilian and that there is “no decision” by Iran to even attempt to make a nuclear weapon. A recent poll has shown that an overwhelming majority of Americans have been convinced by politicians that Iran’s program is a “threat” to American interests, though polls have generally shown a strong opposition to starting a war over the matter.

I don't know what proof the US has. That is for the president and his administration to determine. If his belief is true that Iran is getting closer, and his committment to keeping his word is true, then he has some decisions to make. Either way, it isn't going to be another Iraq. President Obama is not about to put ground troops into Iran. Anything he does would likely be limited to air power.

The striking image of steam over the Arak heavy water complex is a vivid demonstration that the regime has more than one pathway to a potential nuclear weapon.

Previously, international talks on Iran's nuclear programme have focused on Iran's attempts to enrich uranium at plants including Fordow.

But the new images of Arak highlight the progress Iran has made on facilities that could allow it to produce plutonium, potentially giving the country a second option in developing a nuclear weapon.

Hmm: thought that happened awready, back in Nov. I think SECY STATE was Kerry's reward for he'pin'.

Really, tho, the Dem. Party is the semi-pro subsidiary of the Repo. Party. The last genuine Democrat, cap. "D," in the W.H. was LBJ. Subsequent Dem. prezzes've worn the armband, saluted @the appropriate moments, & goose-stepped in unison @party functions, but they've pretty much been undercover Repos.: dull to the last drop.

If the "window" for attacking Iran is this summer, then Obama has little time to "sell" an invasion of Iran to the American people, the US Congress, and the UN.

It took a good six months (August 2002 to March 2003) to "sell" the Iraq invasion to the American people, the US Congress, and the world. And the Bush people had to do it with lies.

Obama going to Israel with his pledge to Netanyahu that America will take the lead in military action against Iran and that Israel should stay on the sidelines is "deja vu all over again".

"Obama will come bearing the message that if diplomatic efforts and sanctions don’t bear fruit, Israel should “sit tight” and let Washington take the stage, ..."

In Netanyahu's 1995 book he was claimimg that Iran would soon have a nuclear weapon and must be stopped "soon". That was 18 years ago and Iran is still without a nuclear weapon.

The Likud crazies want Iran eliminated. So what? When will America stop doing the Zionist's dirty work?
