No. Do you want to leave them blameless?

History, and even yourself previously, beg to differ.

Taxation isn't plunder. It's been WRITTEN INTO THE CONSTITUTION FROM THE BEGINNING.

You do support the Constitution right?
Taxation is robbery. Plunder being not much different. Some say taxation is necessary evil and that is why it should be avoided by the liberal idea of limited government. Clearly the Dems have rejected liberalism here. The GOP likes to talk about it but they're lying because they never follow through.

Limited government is just as much an anathema to the GOP as it is to the faux liberals who cheer for bigger government and then lament the results.

As for the Constitution, it was a nice idea that is pretty much ignored.

This is the type of hyperbole that sullies the debate. People wonder why we can't solve problems; exhibit A

If I came and took the fruits of your labor under the threat of force then what would you call it?

Oh for the love of God can we please not let this degenerate into the ridiculous taxation is robbery nonsense?

Well, that's what you get when Semi brings in his neo-anarchism.

I suppose it is easier to talk about me instead.

What if I framed it in the context of TBTF fat cats and their plunder? Would it make it better? Would it make it okay?

Here we have the sequester and all the gnashing of teeth and drowning of kittens and what not. Yet the sequester is merely $85 billion. How much does TBTF average at the government feeding trough? $83 billion.

    whiskey
    tango
    foxtrot

If not plunder, what would you have me call it?

    WYFP??

Doesn't my anti-Royalty stance do it for you?

Your canard about "voluntary taxation" is as realistic as the uber-liberal need to ban all guns.

It just can't be taken seriously.

...and it has nothing to do with me.

Honestly, your anti-royalty stance, at times, is about as believable as the GOPs fiscal restraint. You make a good talk of it.

People asked for an alternative and I gave them one. If they prefer the comfortable complacency of the status quo then don't ask. I just don't think the status quo will be comfortable for long.

Sure it does. Otherwise you wouldn't ask.
