I want to apologize to those who were expecting a complete play-by-play today. I forgot I have a life and cannot post 200 times over the course of a game.

On a side note, I got a good look at the construction site of the new stadium. The skeleton of the grandstand on the first base side is up; bunch of big cranes out there and construction guys worked through the game. The construction site is huge.
Bronco, where's the speech??????
I'd just like to echo what I've posted before and add a few thoughts if I may.Originally Posted by esmd

Wow.
A thread record with a number passing the great Cal's consecutive game streak.
I am truly honored to break the record and pass such an important number in Oriole history.
This thread record will be broken someday but Cal's record will stand forever.![]()
Excuse me....let me get regain my composure here..ahem...

I'll try not to be long winded here...
Whew! :
OK, ..ahem
I'd like to thank the Academy...er..the Baltimore Sun,everybody who was involved in this thread both 'fakey' and 'real' fans,Moose and Pavano for without all of you this would not be possible..
I would have loved to post this on post 2132 and ask that the thread die but unfortunately I don't usually log on evenings.
Gotta spend some time with the family.![]()
In closing once again,I would like to thank all who participated in this record breaking event....
Thank you...Thank you!!!!![]()

Maybe if you wrote like you eat, you would have posted it sooner.![]()
