Default Martin O'Malley and Harold Ford's excellent analysis.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...080601158.html

"Most Americans don't care much about partisan politics; they just want practical answers to the problems they face every day"

Governor O'Malley gets it.

That is an absolutely true statement.

It's a shame O'Malley doesn't practice what he preaches. All politics is partisan during election time and most politicians carry that over during their terms.
Dutch Ruppersberger was one that did it the right way. He stuck with his party during the elections but befriended and worked closely with republicans during his normal working terms.

You won't see MOM doing that. As witnessed during the Ehrlich years, the MD. democratic party will do what it can to suppress the republican party at the expense of the public.

Question: If you agree with the statement why are you so partisan?

Like Harold Ford, now O'Malley will atempt to change his image as a liberal or progressive democrat (which he never truly was) in order to widen his base to more conservative voters. Both Ford and O'Malley are the worst types of political hypocrites. They stand for nothing but their own desire to gain influence and political position. If it would help them, they'd become republianc, green, or blue, whatever would garner the most votes. I'm glad Ford didn't win. If only his loss had shut him up!

And I suppose O'Malley's constant jabs at the previous administration aren't partisan politics. Too bad he doesn't practice what he preaches.

At the same time, I vehemently dislike: spineless, passionless, followers, insincere con-artists, and politicians with no vision or courage, such as:

O'Malley
Dixon
Mitchell
Rawlings-Blake
and more

"Governor O'Malley supports the PSC's efforts to fight for and protect Maryland consumers and hopes that Verizon will work quickly to address these complaints," Abbruzzese said.
"Governor O'Malley, taking on Verizon to stop the flood of complaints." Wonder if the solution will be any better than the BGE solution. Oh, that's right there was no solution. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Really? So what exactly did he do as Mayor or now as Governor that proves him to be a strong leader?

All I see is a very slick snake oil salesman. Lots of flash but no results.

BUMP! C'mon MOMlovers you must have something that MOM has accomplished other than conning a majority of the voters on multiple occasions.

1) City crime reductions? Oh yeah, Baltimore never lost its place on the list of most violent cities.

2) School accountability and improvement? Oh yeah, the schools still can't prepare a coherent budget and they still can't graduate many students into the population of self sufficient workers.

3) Real estate boom? Oh yeah, the city trailed everybody on the upside and is leading everybody on the downside because it was mirage perpetuated by speculators.
