Jesus Christ! So now you can only laugh at things that were intended to be funny? If I ever see you, please remind me to turn around and head in the opposite direction. No way in hell do I want to be anywhere near that black cloud hovering over your head.

1968. During the TET Offensive. That was a laugh-er too.

Tell me, do you find doing something for laughs that results in unintended pain and suffering funny? If so... maybe you are inclined towards sadomasochistic tendencies?

It depends on the degree of pain and suffering.

For example: One of my good friends accidentally stabbed another one of our friends in the leg (and by stabbed in the leg, I mean 6 inch blade buried to the hilt in his calf). At the time, it was not funny - we were freaked out. Once he got patched up we all had a pretty good laugh out of it, and continue to laugh about it to this day.

So yes, we all (including the person stabbed) laughed at his pain and suffering because of the stupidity of the situation.

Sounds like none of you learned very much from the experience.

That you would still find such a serious accident with perhaps very serious consequences comic.

Webmommy- American's Funniest Videos has a rule that in order to submit your video the people involved cannot have been hurt while it was being made. Every once in a while I do catch it... and don't find much of it funny anyway. However the cats/dogs doing silly things (like attacking a mouse on a TV program) do tend to crack me up. Nut shots, on the other hand... not so much.

There was no serious consequence besides some stiches and antibiotics. . Certain people learned they should be much more careful with knives and now they can laugh about the situation.

Again, you sound like a real riot to be around. I'm glad you enjoy living under your black cloud. Quit trying to pull others into it.

Here are some staged videos not intended for comic relief, but for educational purposes. My guess is that some here will actually find them unintentionally humorous.

And just for golgo, there's this belly buster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qf_LW...eature=related

Kinda reminds me of the old joke -

What's a redneck's last words? Hey, watch this!

I give up. You've clearly had your sense of humor surgically removed at some point. I feel sorry for you.

Nothing the least bit funny about death or serious physical injury.

I figured that out the first hour of the first day I selected my career.

Playing Mother Hen to the incredulously stupid is not without it's rewards though.
