Wrong. Yes, it speaks of our obsession with the rights of gun owners and the rights of criminals. It only takes one incident for a legal gun owner to become a criminal.
He says we suffer from a combination of both. Our devotion to criminal rights gets them back out on the street and leaves them brazen. Our devotion to gun rights leaves guns ripe for the stealing from criminals. And gun owners get ore guns to protect themselves fro the criminals who keep getting off. How many guns on the street have been stolen from gun owners?
Most other industrialized countries don't suffer from nearly the gun violence we do. It's not a coinky-dink.
